War in Ukraine

Sure. But when the article you post ***** on your own argument you should pause.

The article was linked in a tweet talking about how the west, who has been full of sh1t up to this point, is finally starting to tell the truth in how Russia is operating this war. Which is to spare civilian lives at all costs. Russia has had to lay waste to some parts of cities, but it isnt because they wanted to.

Be honest, if you can.

Refugees generally don’t leave non war torn cities, wouldn’t you agree? They certainly wouldn’t leave areas where they are being liberated but you keep doing you comrade

What are they suppsoed to do? Stay in the city while UkrainianAzov forces fire on it after retreating? You guys arent this dumb, come on.

If they didn't want to they wouldn't be there. Everything done is because they want to

Good question. There may be the rare circumstance (Ukraine) where it is warranted, but those are few and far between. Why we would give any country billions of dollars year after year has always been a mystery to me.

It’s how big government buys favors, makes allies , and loyalty. That’s just the public info money , bet the dark money is way more than that .

If that were the case then why the ceasefire negotiations? Why not go on, lay waste to everything, and take what they want? The evidence doesn't match your statement.

I'm still getting a good chuckle over this. NATO did not expect this and their posture since the announcement yesterday is telling. They are effed, they know they are effed and they have no idea where to go from here. Total incompetence.

Right, I’m sure NATO didn’t expect Russia to throw a tantrum. Truly shocking stuff.

You are a special kind of stupid 😂 Let me get this straight, Russia invaded Ukraine to free them from the Azov forces meanwhile all the destruction in Ukraine is caused by the Azov forces but there is no destruction because fewer than 1k people have been killed per Russia? Putin himself admitted that Russian forces had indeed attacked civilian areas but blamed it on local Russian commanders. Which is it, there is no destruction with few civilian casualties or there is widespread destruction and genocide caused by the elusive Azov battalion that can’t be stopped even though Russia’s military is doing whatever they want?

It's how companies and individuals buy favors also. It's not a big government phenomenon.

I don't think giving them 4 times more money in one year than we give Israel or Afghanistan every single year is that big of a deal. My bigger question is why do we give those countries BILLIONS EVERY YEAR,

That’s my biggest question as well. We sure could use those billions.

Zelensky is a "dictator", huh. Thank you for sharing your special perspective. Now starting to understand you.

dic·ta·tor
/ˈdikˌtādər/
noun
1.a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained control by force.

2019 Ukrainian presidential election

The 2019 Ukrainian presidential election was held on 31 March and 21 April in a two-round system.

There were a total of 39 candidates for the election on the ballot. The 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia and the occupation of parts of Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast prevented around 12% of eligible voters from participating in the election. As no candidate received an absolute majority of the vote, a second round was held between the top two candidates, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a comedian who portrayed a fictional president of Ukraine in the comedy television series Servant of the People, and the incumbent president, Petro Poroshenko, on 21 April 2019. According to the Central Election Commission, Zelenskyy won the second round with 73.22% of the votes.

So you believe Putin? I thought you didn't believe Putin? Which is it?

Mauripol wasn't destroyed overnight. Russia gave them a chance at surrender. Citizens knew and most fled. Some stayed to fight and others were held against their will by Ukrainian forces as human shields. Ukrainian forces, as usual, made use of civilian areas to stage their defense. So Russia can either go around Mauripol or root out Ukrainian forces and take the city.

You use the term genocide as if you were a child. If genocide is what they wanted, they could do that. An overnight barrage of bombing, with no warning, would have done it. However, that isn't what happened is it? Be honest for God's sake. If you say you think it wasn't worth it for Russia to take Mauripol and instead go around it, then that is a fair assessment. But to talk of genocide and acting as if Russia wanted to destroy the city, is just childish and juvenile and not representative of actual evidence of events.

Big companies don’t add to our debt . Makes no difference to me how much money Amazon, Apple , Blackstone , or Tesla spends in Tanzania .
