Right, they fell back to defensive positions in the city. Same as is happening so over the rest of Ukraine because those are the tactical areas. Russia is purposefully targeting civilian areas to obtain a military objective. It will continue to happen through Ukraine until it becomes too costly for Russia or nothing is left for Ukraine.

That doesn't refute the fact that Russia is willingly killing civilians who can't or won't leave and destroying peoples lives and livelihoods. They are not showing restraint, sure they could do much worse, there's always worse. They are methodically destroying cities because the civilians and military won't give in to their invasion.

That's the plain truth.

I agree with you . I just mostly listen to them like I said I’m the only American so arguing just about any point is kind of useless . Germans are the most vocal about it once they get going but the Britts are a close second . I will poke the bear occasionally just to see what they think about something .Lol

One of my favorite friends is a Canuck . We make fun of both our governments and how stupid they are all the time . Honestly if you want the straight facts , no sugar coating or bs, get yourself a Canadian Indian friend . I don't think so. You don't pull out of Afghan and leave closest allies holding the bag, including evacuating your citizens you left behind. That single act signaled enemy and ally that you can't be relied on.
