Was it even worth it Tressel?

Tressel is not an nfl type coach. So where does he go from here? Assuming he will be fired in the next calendar yr.

Probably nowhere for the next 2 years, at least not in the NCAA. Show causes are an absolute biatch.

I treat my condo like a really nice hotel room that appreciates in value and I never have to check out. I'm here about half the time. I can get up, eat breakfast at Pete's, and still be in Manhattans for lunch any day the urge hits me. I must have missed where anyone has ever tried to pass Knoxville off as anything other than a functional little college town. You're the one who tried to shill Atlanta as if it were some glorious metropolis that Bobby Petrino couldn't handle. It might have just been that he quickly recognized the futility of working for the NFC's version of the Oilers.

Bragging about eating lunch at a restaurant that, from my knowledge, isn't even open any more? That's a new one.

1. That's a rather weak attempt at "Fixed Your Post" humor.
2. If you are going to attempt that, you probably shouldn't leave out the apostrophe.

Yeah, I know. Just having fun. But it is hard to impress a Knoxville jet setter that can get to Manhattan for a sandwich so easy.

Sorry if I missed it here, but has anyone heard or seen any more reports on the new OSU info, like the new emails found?

You ask was it worth it?

Think about the amount of pressure these coaches are under to win. You guys fired a top 10 SEC coach all-time because you didn't feel like he was winning enough.

Fans will never be happy with their coach and eventually eat their own if they feel "the game has passed him by."

Look at these idiot UGA fans who want Richt gone. Who would they get that is better?

Change isn't always the right thing and it certainly doesn't every guarantee things will get better.

The answer is No, it wasn't worth it........but the pressure to win these guys are under makes every coach vulnerable to the same temptation to bend whatever rules they have to to keep their guys at the front.

Why build up a career just to have it taken away? Doesn't seem worth it. But that's my thinking.
