We also "hung" with Missouri, Troy, and for most of the game Akron, and got the crap kicked out of us by Vandy. Which means you really don't have much of an argument because if "hanging" with those teams meant anything, we would have beaten Vandy and Missouri, and destroyed Troy and Akron.

I guess you aren't getting what I'm saying. Is ND better than us? Yes. Would they blow us out? No because they struggled to do that to multiple teams less talented than us. I'm not saying we'd win but in a close game anything can happen.

Yes. Notre Dame is two touchdowns better than us. Nick Saban makes a lot of teams look worse than they are when he has an entire month to gameplan.
