The other Washington kid is small. If the staff is interested in this kid, he has the size. Who was it on staff that was good getting in with the Polynesian kids? I know there was someone on the support staff with that connection. Can't remember his name.We love to have him even with Heard on board. We need to upgrade our LG spot. Take him or the other Wash guard in the portal. The other kid has a couple of years of eligibility too.
Your talkin bout Micah James, was Utah States Oline coach. He’s still in staff as an offensive analyst as far as I know. The other Washington kid is small. The other kid is smaller but it shouldn't be too difficult for him to drink porkchop shakes all spring and summer to gain weight. Plus he is a freshman all-american so he got talent and 3 years left. Either kid would be an upgrade tho.The other Washington kid is small. If the staff is interested in this kid, he has the size. Who was it on staff that was good getting in with the Polynesian kids? Only if we push some people out after Spring. Heard should put us at 83, I believe, which is supposedly the max we want to be with the scholarship reduction punishment. But the staff is still pursuing guys, like the Stanford DL. My guess is they fully expect more guys to leave in the Spring portal. But taking more guys now means pushing more guys into the portal later. Numbers are flexible atm because signees that weren't EEs won't actually count until they enroll AFTER the Spring.Do we have room for both he and Heard??
I think that kid was like 271 lbs. He'd need to add a lot of good weight, muscle, to play in the SEC. And that's assuming he has the frame for it. Probably wouldn't be ready by next season. The other kid is smaller but it shouldn't be too difficult for him to drink porkchop shakes all spring and summer to gain weight. I think he could get there. Could definitely add 25 lbs of good weight by Aug. He also is the better prospect and played guard and center. Could easily slide over to C in 2025. Kid held is own against Michigan and Texas.I think that kid was like 271 lbs. He'd need to add a lot of good weight, muscle, to play in the SEC. And that's assuming he has the frame for it.
