Washington to hire Chris Peterson

Does he have ties there? Weird that he would choose them over USC

Doesn't have to put up with the LA media and all the pressure that comes with that job. Can pretty much fly below the radar in Seattle.

I would guess proximity. I'm not sure where exactly his son is treated, but I've always heard the reason he didn't want to leave Boise State was because of his son's treatment.

Rains more in New York and Atlanta than Seattle. Just always overcast. From September to April the sun only shines like 20 days.

False. You apparently didn't read my fact sheet here. :)

Atlanta and NYC aren't even on this list.

Edit: Roswell, GA is on the list at #64, and to be fair, since I included Enumclaw Plateau, WA effectively as Seattle, I'll include Roswell as Atlanta.

You're still wrong. :salute: (Btw, I'm just picking ya...)

According to Bruce Feldman, when he interviewed with USC, Petersen's vision didn't mesh with how Pat Haden wanted things to run at USC.

He's behind the curve & missed his opportunity elsewhere. I'm sure Washington fans will thump their chests about landing the guy no one could ever pull away from Boise, but they're getting a shell of his former self IMO.

Yeah I didn't realize you posted about total rainfall, I was referencing the number of days it rains. Your right about total amount of rain, when it rains in Seattle It Rains. Just doesn't rain nearly as often as most people believe. I lived there for about six years when I was younger.

From what I've heard he wanted to take over a program similar to Boise where he could build it up over the course of several seasons without the AD/Boosters/Fan base calling for his head like they would at bigger schools.

Itzkool, yo. Like i said, I'm just having fun posting facts and data on a place like VN where that sort of behavior is strictly forbidden. :)
