Watching the BCS Game Tonight (Official game thread)

Maybe so but this is not like comparing a high school team to a college team. It's like comparing a pro AA minor league team to a MLB team. Not as much difference as you think.

The 0-16 Lions from a few years ago would absolutely roll this Alabama team.

Future pro bowlers because they matured in the NFL.

No college football team could beat an NFL team.

The Montana Grizzlies could beat anyone, any level, any time.

i'm not arguing that a team of kids could beat a pro team.

i am arguing that there is more elite future professional talent on some of these college teams than what is on some professional teams.

I see your point but there is still Oregon out there who I would of rather of seen play tonight then this crap

I fully agree. ND should NEVER be in a BCS game. What gets me is there are still teams that will make the playoffs that only play 12 games in a season. I think we should go to a 9 or 10 game conference schedule and drop the SECCG. Why play 13 games when 12 can get you in the playoffs?

SECTION 4. Opportunity To Catch a Kick
Interference With Opportunity

ARTICLE 1. A player of the receiving team within the boundary lines
attempting to catch a kick, and so located that he could have caught a free
kick or a scrimmage kick that is beyond the neutral zone, must be given an
unimpeded opportunity to catch the kick
(A.R. 6-3-1-III, A.R. 6-4-1-V and IX).
a. This protection terminates when the kick touches the ground, when any
player of Team B muffs or touches a scrimmage kick beyond the neutral
zone, or when any player of Team B muffs or touches a free kick in the field
of play or in the end zone (Exception: Rule 6-5-1-b) (A.R. 6-4-1-IV).
b. If interference with a potential receiver is the result of a player being
blocked by an opponent, it is not a foul.

c. It is an interference foul if the kicking team contacts the potential receiver
before, or simultaneous to, his first touching the ball (A.R. 6-4-1-II, III, and
VIII). When in question, it is an interference foul.

Looked like the ND player was blocked into the punt returner, so it shouldn't have been a penalty. It was very close though.

is bamma that good or is nd that bad ????? really this games is boring the best part is when AJ girl gets shown .....

You won't get it. The comment wasn't even remotely funny nor entertaining. You are showing an extreme lack of class even referencing that at all. I had too many people too close to that storm to even make a passing comment about it. AU fans would hang your butt on Toomer's Corner for that one.

Ok whatever man. Cry if you want. I couldn't care less. Extreme lack of class lol. I am not having this conversation cause you'll just cry about it.
