Watching the BCS Game Tonight (Official game thread)

How would Bammer fare against a team that consisted of:

Three 1st Team All-Conference players
Three 2nd Team All-Conference players
One 1st Team All-American
One 2nd Team All-American and
One Heisman Finalist
Multiple Record-Holders for their respected teams...

...all from BCS Conferences...

..who have had a few years developing and playing big-boy ball together?

Because this is the starting OFFENSE of the Kansas City Chiefs.

how many guys is that? because the heisman finalist was probably an all american and an all conference player

The question I have is, how would they do against the Kansas City ROYALS? I'm just saying...

Run Moose up the middle. He'll break four or five tackles with Billy Butler blocking. Frenchy has a cannon of an arm and Alex Gordon can catch. Match made in heaven. Money is on the Royals.

What's your definition of "hanging"?

Would you cry this much if I mentioned Hurricane Andrew? Bet you wouldn't. You're only mad because you knew people involved. Otherwise, you wouldn't care.

Don't know that I am crying bud, but yeah, making a stupid statement about Andrew would be equally classless. I lived less than 120 miles from the center track of that storm. I just don't make jokes about people dying. If you live long enough, you will understand

You puke before you think......classy.

As long as Saban is at Bama...they are getting their share of 4* and 5* recruits. Accept it. But what we can hope for is for Notre Dame to get pummeled. Why? Because those 4* and 5* recruits who don't want to go to Bama will now think twice before wasting their time at Notre Dame.

ok...when was the last time Tennessee played the Irish and why do we care about them again?

I'll hang up and listen..

Has happened before. I'd rather have him making accurate analysis than Bradshaw or some goof. I think everything he has said is true concerning the game. They can't play man, or remotely get pressure in the backfield. McCarron has all day to throw. Flip it around and you have Alabama playing one deep safety and predominately man-free or cover zero. Golson is getting abused and hit every play.

Interesting listening to Urban try and dodge the questions about SEC dominance... Heh.

Kiffin gave his prediction for the SEC title game in 09

i made that post because i don't know if anyone thought about this, but under normal circumstances we are watching notre dame vs. ohio state

The perception was that the Big10 sucked this year, so a 1 loss Alabama may have still squeaked into the championship.

:-D I see what you did there... But ... they might beat the Astros, they are Seven Shades of Suck...

Austin Johnson‏@AustinJ40

They should just move the SEC Championship to January 7th and call it the National Championship

None of the player's accolades overlapped (ex: Quinn was the Heisman Finalist and a 2nd Team AA, so I only counted him as the Heisman Finalist). Tony Moeaki and Peyton Hillis (dude was blocking for McFadden) are the only 2 not listed, and both logged multiple starts for Iowa and Arky.
