That's just my point. The game plan has been ground and pound. They have had their way running the ball down ND throat. Throwing it deep now appears to be salt in the wounds. Don't get me wrong, ND isn't going to stop them either way.

Well, they can either run and score, pass and score or punt on 1st down. At least passing ND gets the ball back quicker and gets to play offense.
