We beat the officials

Those 2 problems are not mutually exclusive. That is a false dichotomy bud.

The refs didnt call 3 obvious PI calls even Gary mentioned, didnt call false start on the 1st INT play when the RT left way early, didnt call personal 15yd when our ballcarrier got slammed out of bounds...and didn't call a single holding penalty on aTm until the 4th quarter when that very same Right Tackle for aTm HELD our DE on almost EVERY SNAP of the game. The 1 time the refs DID call it...it was on that same RT for tackling our DE in the backfield. The refs did all they could to make us lose this game from the very 1st drive no call on PI 40 yards down field.

Also

Joe Milton almost beat this team today by himself. The only reason that he didnt is because our Defense and Dee Williams REFUSED to let us LOSE.

Both things are absolutely

They see how much money is floating around in college football these days, and they just want a piece of the pie. With no referee NIL, they have to rely on Vegas. Either that or their blind. They "blew" calls on both sides today.

Ref's missed a couple plays where Tn grabbed the face mask. If they had called it on AM's last possession, it woulda been 1st down and could have been a different outcome. I guarantee on AM's comment board they are saying the same thing about missed calls. The thing that stood out for me was missed opportunities by Milton and dumb penalties that stopped drives. Also, the play calling was way too predictable. When is the last time Tn ran some trick or gadget play? Defense and special teams won this game today.

we were definitely fortunate that the refs missed what should have been a facemask on us during A&M's last drive, but the A&M Db's held our receivers ALL NIGHT LONG and didn't get called.
Yes they did miss a face mask or two on us, but that was not for lack of trying. If anything, that proves their incompetence even more. They plainly didn’t see it because they weren’t paying attention. That still doesn’t make up for the blatant stuff they should’ve called that would’ve helped us. The piss poor officiating has become a serious problem.

It seemed like they only called holding and PI on us when they were doing it all day too.

Thankfully they missed that false start that when we got the pick and later a face mask.

Aggies had a lot of penalties too but Tenn's was crucial and obvious. I mean my goodness even the false start on the pick.
The refs were favoring them over Bama too. Jimbo has the refs help and still sucks.
I'm getting really tired of seeing non-calls on clear PIs. It is out of hand. The calls they're "missing" that would help UT are called all the time. It has already passed ridiculous.

The officials were horrible both ways
Which I won’t complain about officiating influencing the game so much when they’re consistently bad for both teams (don’t get me wrong, shouldn’t be bad for either team…), as opposed to being bad for one and allowing the other to get away with everything.

Honestly these refs were atrocious, but at least they were atrocious to both teams.

This crew shouldn’t work another game all year
The side judge was horrible. She called PI on us then missed PI on them the next seties. I don’t think the other officials liked her very much because during time outs they would all huddle on the field but she strayed on the sideline.
