We beat the officials

I think part of the problem is the pool of talent is lacking. Think back 10 years, the crew yesterday was out of shape and disjointed. The athletes playing have gotten better while the physical abilities of the crew worse. How many of those officials were former players at any level of college, then think about all the previous officials and where they played.

First time in a long time that I can recall that we beat the other team AND the officials.

I would REALLY like to know who those guys were; so I could invite them to Dinner.......That is the First game I have gotten so damn mad at the OBVIOUS Bias I could have shot the TV. And ANY Vol fans that say, "Bad on both teams" Is totally ignorant or full of it. Or Both. The obvious PI's not called, The PI on Tenn that was called and NOT even close to PI, The Body slam out of bounds not called, Holding called on UT and never on A&M, It was atrocious. These guys don't realize they are screwing with our lives?? Just call it even, or GTHO.

The refs in the Miami vs North Carolina game called all the holding calls for the season. No one else gets any

It really does seem we get the worst of it. I am really worried about next week when we play SEC darling Bama. We have to be prepared for every call to go Bama’s way.
Makes you wonder if the officials hate the way Tennessee’s offense plays so fast and just throwing flags to slow it down and get themselves a breather

Georgia and Bubba will get the best calls. The SEC thinks they have the best shot at the Natty!

Man, I know I wear OR colored glasses and all. But, this year has been horrible for us. Even in the three patsy games. There seem to have been a ton in every game. Now, we did get away with an ugly facemask out in the open that Stevie Wonder could have flagged.

One call is human error. Multiple no calls of out of bounds hits/slams is unacceptable. Changes the play calls with no calling and takes points potentially off the board.

Make up non-call after it was clear that A&M couldn't win---Even WITH their help.

Bingo. However, Thou should be chastised for being so observant .

Nah, it’s time to look in the mirror. Some blown calls. I also saw a few that didn’t get called on us. Our problem is the QB position. Not the refs.
QB may be a problem but Tennessee wins that one going away if they clean it up. The penalties, whether they were warranted or not, came at the most costly times and stalled momentum

If you aren't qualified, seek alternate employment. If "It just means more" then hire the best officials available. The SEC has the worst.

Zebras missed some PIs and a critical hold or 3. But they also missed facemask against the vols at least twice.

Officials are paid to be better than that!

Just checked the mirror it said 5-1, not 1-5. Sorry we won in this difficult time. Thank goodness for this no calls, we might of won by 14-17 points.

TAM holding our receivers arms EVERY pass play.

The body slam of our runner when he was out of bounds - NO FLAG.

Oh- and DANIELSON STILL SUCKS.
Don't forget the 3 blatant PI no calls. Even the announcers pointed them out. There was a very ticky-tack holding call in the 2nd half that did not look like holding that brought a big run by Jalen Wright back as well. I noticed the body slam 2 yards out of bounds.. think that was on either Squirrel or Sampson

Aggies had a lot of penalties too but Tenn's was crucial and obvious. I mean my goodness even the false start on the pick.
The refs were favoring them over Bama too. Jimbo has the refs help and still sucks.

If you buy into the league having an agenda (which I do to an extent) then this makes total sense. Saban is trending toward retirement, they are looking for a "changing of the guard" from the West (yes I know it won't exist next year, but they probably wanted to kickstart Jimbo's rise this year).

The officiating is going to be bad all year. I don't know what the reason for it. But, the season is half done and Tennessee has been fighting the zebras and their opponents all year and it's unlikely to change.

Keep looking at those numbers. If joe keeps throwing for 100 yd games that 2nd number will start growing. Keep your eye on it the next 4 weeks.
