I keep reading all of this crap about how bad we are going to be. 5-7, 4-8, 3-9 at best. We were two bad plays from being 7-5 last year and I think this team is much better than last year.

Every talking head you see thinks we are going to really suck and Mizzou and Ole Miss are going to be 9-3 or 10-2 territory.

I can't wait to prove them all wrong.

The ranking for college football is over blown. I mean they have Ohio St and Urban Cryer at number 5 in the nation and they play 1 ranked team in the top 25. (Michigan St) We play 7 or 8 teams ranked in the top 25.

Exactly, I've read the Utah State boards and what their fans don't seem to grasp it is one thing to play one or two top 25 teams in a season, but it is quite a different thing to play as many ranked teams as the SEC teams do.

We will definitely have more play makers this year, and I don't see us regressing any at any of the linebacker or defensive back positions. On offense, we have greatly increased our potential to make big plays with the addition of Malone, Pearson, and Hurd. Worley may not be an all-SEC caliber Quarter-back, but he was good enough to come within a few inches of leading us leading us to back to back wins against two top ten teams. He tends to make good decisions, and he has more talent than people give him credit for.

I think that if that the great unknown for this team is our O-line and D-line due to the lack of experience. If our line play exceeds expectations, then I believe we will shock some people this year.
