The turnovers continue to happen and at the most crucial points in the game. Year after year. I'd have to disagree with you there.
Unfortunately we've been on the wrong end of a streak for the last 9 years and like every other member here, I'm ready to see this one come to an end. As someone mentioned earlier, it's going to take a very special team playing an exceptional game while making a minimum amount of mistakes to get a victory against Florida this year. Even if Florida finishes the season with a sub .500 record, they've understood what's at stake. The winner of this game is "usually" in the drivers seat for winning the Eastern division crown.
What I'm trying to say is that when the two teams play, Florida continues to find a way to sometimes do just enough to get the victory OR the VOLS gift wrap it at a certain time during the game and literally hand it to Florida. Either way, it's been difficult to watch year after year.
Oddly enough, the last time Tennessee played Florida @ Neyland Stadium during the month of October was 1990. Does anyone remember that outcome?
