We will start ALOT of Freshman next year

I would dare say that all of the class coming in will be in the two deep next year save maybe a slight few (2 to 3) that will redshirt and many will start.

Our team will look completely different and while we will be very young there is no way in hell that you can convince me or CBJ that Kelly JR etc should not be a starter.

I am predicting 16 freshman starters/ incoming Jucos next year by the end of the season.

i agree 1000 percent. first 2 randolph and coleman should just be special team players. both are terrible.

cant wait to see these fr. come in and take over. todd kelly is a stud, maybe they'll let him return punts. he's pretty quick, but he's got really good vision on punt returns. im really pulling for him, and i believe he's one of the more important recruits we have committed.

that would be a first in NCAA history. :)

Jones will not come close to that. that would lead to the most losses in Tennessee history... The number of freshman starters this year has been a big number..

Wait a minute Larry

Stop with all the negative stuff. Not needed

These true freshmen are going to take us to the stratosphere in their first year. 12-0 baby

I'd say several, maybe 16, will be in the two deep. None are likely to start at QB, RB, TE, or DL. Four of the five OL starters are probably on the roster now. AJ, Maggitt, and JRM are very likely to start at LB if AJ returns (and I don't think he's going to draft high enough to leave now). Randolph will start and McNeil will likely start after growing up this year. Sutton starts.

That brings us to CB where I am anxious to see what Gaulden can bring to the table. You'll see a bunch of new WR's in the mix but the returning guys will have a big advantage for having played so much this year.

I want to see Ryhad Jones these last few games now that he is healthy and after the break should be in game shape.

I hope Jancek will give him a chance.

I know I aggravate you guys. You think I am being "negative" or a wet blanket for no good reason or just to annoy you.

The DC just has me REALLY concerned. The D lacks talent but it also does not look well coached.

Check out the numbers I posted in the "cannot coach speed"thread.

As I said in the other thread I am a supporter of Jancek at this point but he will be judged by the results on the field and at this point we are not seeing results. I am not sure what role the talent plays in that but I have no doubts it is some off it.

The speed excuse is the dumbest and most tiring thing on this board. It's got more to do with being out of position than speed.

I have watched the game 4 or 5 times, pausing it and slowing it down and there were plenty of opportunities with players in position to make plays and they couldn't.

There were times when players were out of position but guess what? The same goes for Auburn, but the difference Auburn had closing speed.

3 or 4 times Neal got to the edge and had to make 1 person miss for long runs but couldn't.

Our DE's are liabilities and we were getting no push in the middle. Daniel McCullers is the biggest bust since Walter Fisher, McCullers should dominate the line of scrimmage.

I would say we have the worst LB corps in the SEC.

when your secondary is loaded with freshman and walkons in the 2 deep then you are in trouble.

This is the question I ask if a player is schemed into position and misses the tackle is that on the coach?

I do not believe it is on the coach as much as it is the player. You could say the coach should have taught proper tackling form I guess.

I don't think Jones has had a RS year so thinking maybe to RS this late in the season to have 2 full seasons or even medical rs just my thinking

He played the final few series against Auburn. I thought the same thing that he would RS but I guess not.

None of our players were highly sought after. I forgot when they step on campus, they're highly overrated.

your right, I didn't even see him in the game. I do not know why we play him for 2 games, I thought the better idea would be to RS.

Wharton may be good enough to play a number of positions on offense or defense which require speed and quickness. He is a winner.

He does have 6pics on the year and have already shut down Van Jefferson, Josh Malone, and Immanuel Hall this year.

Better not get to far ahead of yourself. Gaulden may start over Todd Kelly, Jr.

I don't know about nickel, but looking at his film......I've never seen a high school safety this good in a long long while. This dude is absolutely amazing.
