Web Censorship and Political Bias

The Twitter response to the NY Post story: We were wrong - it can be posted or shared now.
Cruz: Is the NYPost account still blocked?
Twitter: Yes but if they log in, delete the original post and repost it all is fine.

WTH? Why make them delete the original post then repost the same thing if the post is now okay? What Byzantine hell is this?

It's not even a question that big tech is censoring information that is harmful to the Democratic Party. It isn't even up for debate that they are doing this and more. The audacity of tech companies censoring tweets from the President of the United States is something to behold. And yet they have the same audacity to stand there and lie through their teeth that they aren't doing it.

What's worse, is that we are so divided in our government that the Reps and the Dems can't even agree on this. In fact, the dems want them to continue censoring information while at the same time denying that it is happening. I wonder how they would feel if big tech had censored Obama's tweets or if they were censoring liberal commentators and viewpoints. It is shameful how divided that we are. Censorship like this is very dangerous for the future of America. Their liability protections should absolutely be lifted.

I wish we could just vote all of these losers out and start over with people who actually care about America and not just about votes.

They just wanted it on record that they said it is OK.

So what if they are?

Anyone denying that this is happening is willfully ignorant:

"Now up is Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn. Says Twitter has "censored" Biden zero times and Trump 65 times." If you're okay with this, you're a problem. That is a major red flag for the future of this country. This is nothing short of election interference and you wouldn't be fine with it if it were your candidate on the opposite end.

The problem we have in politics is that short term policies overrule long term effects. This is working for the democrats now but some aren't thinking about the issue of setting the precedents. What if the people get fed up with Twitter and go to parler and a conservative led big tech company is bigger than we've ever seen. Their new arguments on censorship and section 230 are then rendered irrelevant based on precendent. These issues on rights should be viewed through the scope of "what if the tables were turned" as well as the present. That isn't the case because we elect idiots.

I see the Trumpsters are setting up their excuses already.....
