The Twitter response to the NY Post story: We were wrong - it can be posted or shared now.
Cruz: Is the NYPost account still blocked?
Twitter: Yes but if they log in, delete the original post and repost it all is fine.
WTH? Why make them delete the original post then repost the same thing if the post is now okay? What Byzantine hell is this?
What part of the election is being interfered with?election interference is illegal.
They're a private company. It's not government run, or at least not yet.As a private company that is fine but they are then a publisher. That's all. They aren't shut down or split up but they don't get the benefits of a platform.
They have government protections. Those are going to be stripped. That's the only contested category here. No one has suggested they are to close down or be controlled by govt. Thank you for proving that you don't read. What part of the election is being interfered with?

Fact-checking is censorship. What a world one enters when you have Trump guiding the ship.
Good Lord you are ignorant. Can't wait for President Biden's executive order that tells conservative talk shows they can't censor from their shows the stories he wants them to discuss.
He stole your girlfriend in college, didn't he?
That's the only reason you have such vile hatred towards him.
I loathe him because of his pseudo-intellectual approach to everything. The fake stutter designed to make it appear like he is genuine, about to make a sincere point. The Dems have them, too, don't get me wrong.
These hearings are all about trying to strong-arm social media into giving them better press. It doesn't have anything to do with Section 230.Would love to see your take if this were reversed:
"Now up is Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn. Says Twitter has "censored" Biden zero times and Trump 65 times."
Per Gillian Turner: Zuckerburg and Dorsey, in response to questioning, unable to provide an example of one “Democrat” or “Liberal” group or person flagged or suppressed on their platforms
Do you agree that people should be able to sue Twitter for not posting their tweets on the NY Post story? The "conservative talks shows" are held liable for defamation. Please see the the Nick Sandman suit against CNN, NBC, ABC, etc. Under section 230, Twitter and Facebook are exempt from being liable even though the story also spread largely on those platforms. They are exempt because they are not in control of what people post or supposed to be. The more they do control it, the more the argument that they are publishers arises because they Are in control of content as NYT is. Go sit on the bench. You don't understand this subject. Clearly.
