Web Censorship and Political Bias

I don't like the idea of the government breaking up big companies, it's only a short term solution anyway. If she was interested in competition she would be supporting less regulation which stymies small companies and rewards the big ones.

Do you remember having to buy your home phone directly from AT&T and nowhere else?

I believe Warren is off the deep end when it comes to her wanting to break up every big company she can get her mitts on. But there is precedence for ending the stranglehold that telecommunications companies have that prevent competition and raise prices.

Well before the movie had even released, too. They never should have opened a rating/review opportunity until after it had been released.
Rotten Tomatoes removed over 50,000 mostly negative reviews AFTER the movie came out also.

Democrats Present Journalist Protection Act

And keep in minds that these are the same people went and doxed a kid for making a meme against CNN. These people are now crying "we need a bill to protect our feelings."

Another day with "that for thee but not for me" in the journalistic pit of society.

The infamous subreddit r/watchpeopledie was quarantined (making it unsearchable) in September 2018 but until today remained active for anyone to visit directly.

After Thursdayโ€™s shooting, the subreddit became extremely active with users seeking out a copy of the video, which was shot in first-person perspective from a head-mounted camera. After the flurry of interest, one the subredditโ€™s moderators locked the a thread about the video and posted this statement: โ€œSorry guys but weโ€™re locking the thread out of necessity here. The video stays up until someone censors us. This video is being scrubbed from major social media platforms but hopefully Reddit believes in letting you decide for yourself whether or not you want to see unfiltered reality. Regardless of what you believe, this is an objective look into a terrible incident like this. Remember to love each other.โ€

Reddit banned the adjacent subreddits r/gore and r/wpdtalk (โ€œwatch people die talkโ€) on Friday as well. Via Techcrunch

ATTโ€™s stranglehold could have been ended by removing protective legislation, didnโ€™t need to break them up.

I miss the days of home phone line monopolies being one of the biggest problems.

I can see the styming of small companies, but how does it reward big ones?

NEW VIDEO - Facial Recognition technologies are developing rapidly because they scrape online photos for information. Today we look at how the technology is being implemented in the US

Feds Ramp up Facial Recognition as a โ€œConvenienceโ€ at Airports. Of course, the claim is that it will be primarily used on "foreign" travelers. But we've heard that before - on the PATRIOT Act, for example. And we also know that the TSA's roadmap is very clear that they'll be collecting biometrics from all travelers - foreign and domestic - on all flights - in all parts of the airport.

tl;dr - Don't trust government.

Legacy media is dying, but it won't go down without a fight. People can see through the BS. Don't just take it from me, do your own research.
Pretty obvious actually. Why listen to the idiot Wolf Blitzer when you can get the info directly from the source? But then again, the left needs everything interpreted in order to know what their talking points should be.

I have been saying this for some time. Trump thru Twitter has shown the death of the MSM.... and they don't like it. Frankly, I think they are in panic mode. Were Mr Trump to be more gentile in his approach to Twitter, he would be killing the media at a much more rapid rate. It actually shows that the left is out of touch with the younger generation in thinking/forcing them to 'get their information' thru the MSM.

You are right about Blitzer being the least worst.
