Great play getting the deflection at the end, but it was an obvious violation on Kansas not giving the inbounder any room. Dude's feet were actually on the sideline and he touched the guy inbounding the ball with a ref 5 feet away. It was ridiculous.

At 16-0 and #19 ranking, looks like USCe is finally getting what they invested in.

That OU game on Saturday was insane. But they sucked from beyond the arc that game. Had they had a better 3PA, that game would have been put away early. But overall, a good game on both teams.

I'd bet the 2/13 Kansas game in Norman will be out of control though.

After going one and one for the week, Oklahoma remains #1. The Sooners lost at #19 Iowa St and won at #13 Baylor. Iowa St moves up to #14 and my Bears drop to #17. Iowa moves up to #3, there highest ranking in 25 years

Of interest is A&M moving up to #5, there highest ranking ever. Who'd a thunk they were a basketball school??? :dunno: How long will it be before Billy Kennedy follows Gillespie and Turgeon out the door? Without Avery Johnson recruiting for A&M any longer, how long will aggy maintain this success?

You guys have a scouting report or input on Georgia Basketball? They'll be in Waco on Saturday (01-30-16) to take on my Bears. Looks like they have a tough next three game stretch at LSU (tomorrow), at Baylor and then home for USCe.

Big Monday was Big. #24 Duke loses at #15 Miami 80-69. Bye Dook :dance2:. #14 Iowa St outscores #4 Kansas by 20 in the second half to win at home 85-72. Guess the 'clone don't like being ranked behind Iowa. :)

Wins over UofL and Duke carry weight. They're a top 25 team IMO; they can beat anyone on any given night but can also lose to mediocre teams. All depends on which team shows up.

Also helps that there are no good teams in college basketball this year. UNC should be unstoppable but they have like 4 losses I think. Everyone thought Duke was done a month ago, but as Duke keeps losing so does everyone else and that helps them stay around the top 25 - same with UK.

Kentucky is still in the top 25? Wtf???
Sports writers are old, lazy and set in their ways. They are voting for the name on the jersey and not the product on the court. If they vote against the blue bloods then they also have to admit they were wrong about their recruiting rankings. We all know the media is never wrong.

I'm sorry but Duke is not good this year. I wouldn't count that as an "impressive win".

Kentucky is still in the top 25? Wtf???

1. We've beat some decent top 25 type teams. Duke, Louisville, Florida.
2. We've played a top 5 team on the road and took them to OT.
3. Obviously we have bad losses, but 2 were games where we've blown leads (UT/Auburn), 2 were to underachievers on the road (LSU/UCLA), and the OSU one has zero excuse. We were out of that one from the get-go.

I agree, we probably shouldn't be a top 25 team on paper, but I think we're probably a fringe top 25 team realistically.
