"We're not going to play like this ever again," Vol Safety Brian Randolph

That was his comment after the game Saturday. You can't tell me the mentality of this team hasn't changed. Obviously there's a long way to go, but at least they're going in the right direction.

Go Vols!

I completely agree!! People need to give Butch a break for sure. He's gonna need more than a summer and some practice weeks to get this team where he wants it and the players are more than willing!

That statement ranks right up there with the statement made by Stevie Hamer after UK beat UT 101-40 in the SEC Tournament: "as long as I am at Tennessee, we will never get beat by 60 points again!"

And Kiffin's, "we will never lose to Georgia again, ever."

Brian Randolph is a very good football player and he may very well have a chance to play at the next level, I just wish we had more like Randolph, he's a tough young man. I'm sure if it's up to Brian they won't play like they did ever again.

What about singing rocky top all the way home after we beat Florida?

Wasn't the spread for that game 28?

Regardless, we lost by 11. Considering the state of the Florida program in 2009, that is something to puff your chest about considering you're starting, what, 3 walk-ons?

It's kind of like when a kid is heading in the wrong direction and one of the parents give them a good whoopin! That's what happened to our team with Oregon. Now we shall see if this whoopin will put our kids on the right track!

I'm pretty sure we've heard things like this before. That "attitude" isn't any different.

This team has some very good players with excellent qualities. I want them to have a good season more for them than for us fans. I know that they can be a much better team than what we saw last Saturday.

Go Vols! Beat Florida!!!

There's a difference in a coach saying these things rather than players taking responsibility and working hard. Jmo
