What’s the likelihood that we see civil unrest soon?

So of course, the only way to fix that is to destroy the current one and put in place a new one that will do what we want it to do. And we replace Republicans and Democrats with New Party X and New Party Y. Then, in a few decades or so, another group that feels put upon does the same thing. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

It's actually textbook Marxist revolutionary theory, just coming from the side that claims to hate Marxist revolutionary theory.
Or just live your life and leave others alone. No man has any right to rule over any other man.

A theory which completely ignores the constantly stated Christian foundations of the country. We need to pick a philosophy and stop putting our hands in so many different ideological baskets.

I’ve been alive 43 years and I know what you’re saying. I even agree but I ain’t NEVER seen anything quite like this
It’s about controlling the things you can control and to hell with the rest of it. Your anger benefits them. Live your life. If it doesn’t affect the temperature of the water in your pool, what do you care?

It hasn’t gotten that bad yet but there’s no doubt that it eventually will.

And there will be hundreds of hours of video and terabytes of archived internet content that lay out the recruitment, radicalization, preparation, activation, and abandonment of a useful army meant to take the heat from those actually meant to benefit from insurrection.

It's so textbook it's not even funny.

Only when you worry about everyone else because you’re a failure.
It's when you are not a failure that you can and should worry about everyone else. I think we may have identified the point of divergence.

Maybe. That’s what the weak hope for no doubt. That said to think the divide will just be among the “insurrectionists” is being willfully ignorant.

It’s effecting the temperature of my blood right along with hundreds of thousands of others.

I was taking your advice UNTIL he left left Americans behind. Before I was just laughing at Antifa and BLM.

Like worrying what you can take from someone that’s successful because you’re not? I’m still wondering how much you voluntarily overpay in taxes every year.

Again… control what you can control and walk away from the rest. It has a much less stressful outcome. Check out that podcast I linked a few posts back. Politics is a death cult.

Situations of unrest breed opportunism like no other. One or two groups may be the physical agitators, but every other group seeking power will be jockeying for position in the aftermath. You don't think the Moral Majority would stab the GOP in the back the first chance it has to become its own political power?

“Morality” is very subjective nowadays.
