No we want equal. Your made up word “equitable” exists to give the worthless something they don’t deserve.
Which should be the same percent. I don't know how this is hard.
This certainly doesn't apply to all of them, but I do believe that if Trump was still the President and calling for every one of his followers to get vaccinated, the vaccination rates in southern "red" states would be considerably higher. Conservatives / Republicans / Trump supporters just don't want to feel as though they have followed a policy directive set forth by liberal politicians. To these people, that would be akin to selling out to "The Man".But it's the dems who troll, right?
JFC, use what little intelligence God evidently gave you, put aside your overly romanticized vision of 1950s US of A, and join the here and now.
Equitable is not necessarily the same percentage. Equitable percentages would be a percentage of income that is a meaningful contribution to the ability of the country to carry out it's mission as stated and inferred in the Preamble, the Constitution, and the Amendments.
1. Technically, all words are made up.
2. Equitable finds its root usage in the 1600s, an offshoot of the French word équité.
3. The definition is: fair to all parties, as decided through reason or conscience.
Also, your description of other human beings as worthless is worrisome.
What should happen IMO is that everyone pay the same percent of income. Amazing how clean that makes it.

Of course, that is just my theory... but the impact of tribalism has permeated all aspects of the American public in 2021.
It's just the most nonsensical thing. The Trump antivaxxer contingent refuses the vaccine as a symbolic way to register their displeasure he lost. The whole thing has become a proxy to say, "Hell yeah I'm stupid. It's my God given right as an American to be an idiot and the more you try to point out to me what a fool I'm being, that just restrengthens my resolve to be a dumb f*** all the more!"
It’s pretty simple. When equal opportunity fails the failures want an equitable outcome because they are supposedly “oppressed” even though they had the exact same opportunity. It’s why we hear stupidity like diversity is more important than merit and such.
