It was 1vol who was talking about whoopin' people with yard signs. You brought up the nazis. I'd think nazis would be more punchable than yard sign people if we're playing "yeah but the other guy did something too." I'd prefer we don't sit around and talk about punching people.

I think the problem is the carte blanche approach to defining Nazi in the first place. If the working definition of Nazi is "someone who disagrees with me" justification is pretty easy to come by.

Well the comment that got all this started was that Biden voter took down their yard signs cause they're gonna get their asses whooped, so, yeah, "someone who disagrees with me," is becoming the justification for a lot of bad takes.

reads as "punching Nazis is ok" which goes directly to my prior post.

FWIW I don't think we're headed anywhere good when violence is appropriate for disapproval of a POV.

If we're going to sit around and ignore comments about violence against people who have yard signs, while saying "but somebody said something about punching nazis", I think that nazis are probably more punchable.

Your point? My punchable nazi comment is a response to bham ignoring "people are going to get beat up because of yard signs," while saying "a lib punched a guy and they said its okay because they called him a nazi."

Edit: just for clarification i agree that you can't justify punching that guy @volinbham was talking about with his nazi comment, but bham jumped into a conversation with a "but the libs" reaction while ignoring what started the conversation. In my opinion, he deserves my snark.

Bham can speak for himself. I'm saying there's no cover for you regarding "punching Nazis" for the reason I cited. (twice)

The other quote clearly (I thought) laid out how I think disapproval=violence is not a good path. Do I need to specifically include yard signs or do we need to make an all inclusive list?

I'm not going to use blue font every time i make a sarcastic comment to somebody just so you can pick up on it. Your comment i responded to was specifically in response to bhams comments (which you were replying to) and I never accused you of anything.

If...someone....openly...supports ....what....Biden....has....done...to...this....country....there....are...people....willing....to....beat.....them....senseless.....everywhere....they....go. Which....is....why.....they.....went.....universally......into....hiding....because...they.....know....that.

Those...people....willing....to.....resort....to.....violence....are.....just....as....plentiful.....as....the....democrats......that....resorted.....to.....violence.

If you think I’m full of chit, why don’t you experiment with it. Put a Biden sticker on your car and I’d be willing to bet you don’t make it through a single day without having to defend yourself verbally or even physically (unless you’re in a blue state) (and even half of them have turned on Biden. Even the dead ones!)
