What’s your dream outcome on Saturday?

We are up 56-0 by the end of the third. No drops, Joe has thrown for 300 and 3 TDs, we pick 6 one, and we get 4 rushing TDs and 250 yards.

Then Nico and Cam Seldon come in and score 2 more. We win 70-0, the Swamp empties out and all you can hear is "It's Great To Be A Tennessee Vol!"

UT beats UF 230-0 and eclipses Georgia Tech’s record for most lopsided victory. UF fires Napier at the end of the first quarter, Rob Sale at the end of the second quarter, Austin Armstrong at the end of the third quarter, and Scott Stricklin at the end of the game. 25% of the UF roster quits at the end of the first quarter, 25% quits at halftime, 25% quits at the end of the third quarter, and the rest of the team quits after the game. The same happens for current commitments and they have 0 commits at the end of the game. The entire UF fanbase is reduced to hysteric fits of unrestrained crying by the beginning of the second quarter. After the game is over, the UF student body is so distraught that it starts a fire and burns down the entire UF campus. When the fire is finally extinguished, there’s just burned out buildings and burned up alligators everywhere (but remarkably, no humans are harmed and the coloring books that haven’t been colored in survive by a sheer miracle). The loss is so dramatic and psychologically scarring for the UF football program and it’s fans that the mere mention of anything related to UT makes them involuntarily suffer full body and debilitating quivers that last minutes on end, but they nevertheless field a football team in 2024 and forward. The top 25% of attractive coeds transfer to UT and become ardent Vol fans. This beat down starts a run of UT beating UF by at least three touchdowns for the next century and the start of a run by UT football of football national championships that makes Saban’s run at Bama look unremarkable and there are serious discussions about disbanding college football because UT is just too dominant for decades on end.

Trying to stay realistic, I would be very satisfied with something along the lines of 24-0 good guys. Stats would indicate a more thorough thrashing but I expect the gator defense to make a few stops.

Tennessee 56
Florida 17

Milton hits 3 bombs for touchdowns.
Tennessee runs wild for almost 300 yards.

Florida quits. Beaten into submission.

Let's leave reality far behind ... A hushed crowd wonders what Billy Napier is doing going out to midfield at the opening meeting with the referees at mid-field ... BN forfeits.
The referee opens his mic and declares the game over due to forfeit ... Josh runs on to the field and shakes BN's hand ... as pandemonium ensues.

Forget reality, how would you draw up the outcome if you could?

For me, Joe throws for about 250 yards with 70+ completion percentage and we run for an additional 300 yards on way to a 49-10 route of the Gators in Gainesville. There is no win large enough to make up for the years of my youth that were shaded by the Gators lopsided victories over us growing up. Something about running ragged all over the Gators feels more exciting to me personally but I would feel more optimistic about the rest of the season if I saw Joe play at a higher and more consistent level.

What would be the most enjoyable outcome?
My dream outcome: beat Florida 70-0, 800 yards offense and the entire Florida football team retires from the sport. Napier gets a raise and extension, UF stadium becomes the Gainesville dump.

Dream Scenario:
- Joe continues making great decisions and fixes his timing on his passes throwing for +250 yards
- No dropped passes on catchable throws
- Rush for +200 yards
- Up by 5 scores going into the 4th
- Nico plays the entire 4th quarter
- We drain the swamp by Halftime
- At least 5 sacks
- Multiple forced turnovers
- Dee houses a return
- No (Tennessee) injuries

Is this too much to ask…

Okay, the Hadid sisters tag team naked ramen noodle wrestling against Taylor Swift and Beyonce........ Oh, wait, not that kind of dream......

Vols get out with no injuries.
The Vols destroy the Gators so badly everyone forgets about the FL curse.
Milton silences the critics once and for all.
Nico has a 4th quarter performance that puts the entire college football world on notice for next year.

Best of all, I think that's realistic.
