As the title says, name the top running back trios in Tennessee history (we've had some good ones) and where can this group of Wright, Samson and Small rank if they reach their full potential.

End of thread…I don’t see how you could top that combination. Foster and Hardesty overlapped but I don’t remember the third.

We’ll see where the current group goes but I don’t see them catching Jamal, Travis, and Travis.
Each of those made their mark as THE guy in a specific season tho. As a GROUP playing in the same season, this one could rival Garner, Stewart and Hayden imo.

I get your point and in fact the way the current trio rotates, while good for the team, may limit their individual recognition. As I recall (always iffy) Lewis’s injury and his early departure for the NFL let the other guys shine.

Lewis, Henry, Stephens

Foster, Hardesty, Coker

Hurd, Kamara, Kelly

Before that I wouldn't be able to name a trio so I'll leave that to someone else.

I could see this group being comparable to the group from '06-'07. Wright has a chance to be very good.
