What are you going to do next season?

I believe Hart is trying to fix the problems.

he might be. i hope that he is.

if DH, based on his experience at FSU and bama, understands what it takes to get everything on track, is working like heck to do it despite the odds against him, and eventually has UT as a major success to end his career on, then we all may be rewarded with UT returning to being competitive in the SEC.

if, on the other hand, DH is a puppet to those who hired him and who also were instrumental in creating the mess, and is going to just coast into his golden years without ruffling any feathers, then all UT fans are going to be rewarded with the thrill of moral victories and occasionally making it to a bowl game ... but the donors get the added sting of feeling it in their bank accounts.

it's a tough call to make, and the 3/1/13 deadline is looming.

I'm assuming that is a no lol

You do a lot of assuming.
In typical fashion of the LOM poster, you don't know Shat.

A person of less than average intelligence could figure out all they need to know about me from searching this site.

You should probably ask for help.

Let me be very clear here.

Times have very rough around the East Tennessee area as far as economics go. I have plenty of friends that can not afford season tickets hell they are lucky if they can afford to go to one game. On Christmas it's the usual new boots, a couple of new flannels and a couple of UT things. I know if they had the money they would love to go to all the games home and away. Some of the best fans can not afford to go to the games that does not make them any less of a fan.

I also know people who have enough money to do anything they want, literally. Some of them are die hard fans who will travel to all home and away games. Some are great fans, some not so great.

Now if you are not attending games or purchasing merchandise because you can not afford it that is one thing and you will never hear me put that guy down, NEVER!!!!

On the other hand if you are not purchasing your season tickets or merchandise in an attempt to make the statement "that you are not going to support the Vols". Then I say piss on you, we don't need you.

I am going to spend at least 4X as much as normal just to try and make up for some of our fair weather fans. To start I will be spending at least $400 in the bookstore this week.

I know I'm grabbing a pair of these

Great post imo

Im not renewing my tickets for a few different reasons. One, I have step son who is 9 and plays football most Saturdays. Two, being that I'm 2 hours away and my step son playing most Saturdays, it doesn't always work out and I have to miss one of the two. Three, I support he vols. I support our players. I support he hard work they put in. I've been a fan my entire life, and no one in here can tell anyone who is a fan or who isn't a fan. My main issue is just with the fact that cbj was the 5th choice. That tells me that he was not the priority candidate.

Now with that said, that does not mean that I do not think he is a great coach. His record speaks for itself in the big east and Mac. The issue I have is how Tennessee has been the past several years. It sucks that he was our 5th choice but thats not his fault. I'm just holding back the comment that he's the answer to our prayers before he first game even happens.

I'm goin to buy new shirts. I do every year. I'll buy a new hat as I do every year. I'll just be in he comfort of my home with friends cheering the vols on.

Perfectly acceptable as a Vol fan.
My question is why were you defensive When I called out those saying "I'm done spending... "? Clearly I wasn't talking to you.

Watch every game on tv or streamed. Root for my Vols and take my wife and daughter to their first football game at Oregon.
