Cooper had a hernia surgery and we keep this stupid gamesmanship or lying about status every week. Get him healed and be honest about status, more important stuff than football, especially since we’re not sniffing the playoff or even the division this year. Hopefully this situation has taught our coaching staff a lesson about why you need an offensive line and to not be lazy in the portal and recruiting.

Ok. True. But MAYBE if we didnt recruit 15 DB's a year and get a few more OL, we wouldbt be in this position. Roster managment is on the staff either way. And all the DB's we've recruited, we are still playing the same ol bunch that aint SEC level. I dont get it. At all.He hasn't had 3 years ... he has had two recruiting classes - with scholarship limitations.
I'd say it's pretty hard to talk a high quality center that leaves his old team to start somewhere to come be a backup to cooper.Cooper had a hernia surgery and we keep this stupid gamesmanship or lying about status every week. He should but he didn’t. We keep saying it’s a game time decision to play games vs the other team when it’s not. Just don’t give any updates or tell the truth. “Cooper underwent a major surgery and we care about our guys and only play them at 100%. He’s not going until then and we’ll announce only then”. Not that hard.
I’m not asking him to say anything. I’m just asking him to be truthful if he chooses to do so. Perfectly fine with saying nothing. There's laws against sharing medical information without consent. Those pesky HIPAA regulations that get in the way of what the public gets to know about a player's 'major surgery' or other health related information. As it should be.
