What did you have for dinner II?

I’ve made the hashbrown one a couple of times. It’s good but time consuming. Have you tried the deluxe beef stroganoff one? I season and brown ground beef with onion powder and Worcestershire sauce. Sautée and add onions, chopped bell pepper and mushrooms. Towards the end of cooking time I add a heaping spoonful of sour cream. Chef’s kiss. I love taking cheap meals and kicking them up a notch.

That sounds great. I've tried it many times before, but nothing like that. Yeah,it's fun adding your own spin on things you cook.

I think that is the downside of how good the hashbrown one is. It's very time consuming to fix, that's for sure.

As far as today, I had scrambled egg sandwiches and ate apple sauce with it. Having some apple sauce with it dates back to when I was a kid and I ate apple sauce with my scrambled eggs constantly. It's still just as good IMHO.

If you’re not serving beef as a main course, buy and inexpensive tender cut, like picanha. Cut the lean meat away from the fat cap and into thumb sized pieces. Caramelize chopped shallots. Wrap the beef pieces, a bit of shallots, and a smidgen of coarse ground mustard with croissant dough. Close the dough to fully encase. Brush these with melted butter or olive oil and bake at 350 until golden brown (about 15 minutes). Mini pseudo beef Wellingtons. Of course, you can coat the beef pieces with pate before encasing them in dough if you prefer. Bon appetite!
Sounds great! I’m making a prime rib roast but I’ll keep this for another time. Thank you!

Where I went to eat and what I had. I went with family to my old neck of the woods since my aunt found a motorized scooter for my stepdad who is having a hard time getting around. I went to help out..... Also, for Vol fans,I drove by old QB Jon Cromptons families car dealership. The place was decked out in orange, and called "Cromptons 8". It was near the restaurant.
