What did you have for dinner II?

Any marinade or spices for the chicken?

EVOO, rice vinegar, smushed garlic, and black pepper. I only marinated it for about 30 minutes so not sure it really did any good.

I'm getting so tired of boneless skinless chicken breasts. Need new ideas (healthy ones).

I eat fish and buy a pork tenderloin that I'll cut the fat off and use for less fatty pork chops

When I was a kid, my mom would fry pork chops, they were thin and had that ring of fat around the edge that got so crispy. I miss that. Bad. lol I don't think they even sell them untrimmed like that anymore. Not good for you of course, but delicious.

They do at a local chain we have ( they have 2 stores one here, and one in the town over), and I buy them!

If you ever get Berkshire pork chops they purposely leave that fat on there and it is like nothing else...but yes, I know what you're talking about. Does bring back childhood memories.

Switch to thighs for a while? I like the flavor better and they are cheaper. Only issue is they are not as easy to cook evenly as breasts. I go back and forth between tenders, thin cut breasts and thighs but I think thighs are my fave.

My favorite too!! They just aren't as healthy. Now I'm sitting here wishing we were having thighs for dinner. Lol

Homemade or frozen? That frozen cinder block of goodness brings back memories. It only took 3 hours to cook it in the oven.

The frozen block! My wife had dinner with the ladies at church, and the kids had pizza. I buy them for work occasionally, but as weird as it sounds I craved it.

I get it. My wife's meatloaf recipe is similar to salisbury steak. About every other month I have her make it.
