Happy Fourth! Have a Happy and safe day! Had a bittersweet day with losing one ofmy families pet,but we're getting through it. He was having a rough time. Okay,no more sadness. Going to enjoy this fine meal

Layered bowl (Exie salad): bed of fresh spinach, penne rigate pasta, sweet Italian sausage with onions and peppers in crushed tomatoes, freshly milled Parmesan cheese.

Well of course I had to have a hotdog today, my Mother always said "it's not the 4th unless you have a hotdog"....so I ate one for you too Mom. I did not have relish so I just put some bread and butter pickles on top and they looked kind of different but tasted the same. I really shouldn't have eaten two of them but I was starving when I came home from work

Thank you! It's been rough. It was a great meal! I got to spend needed time with family which is always a plus especially with the circumstances.

The ribeyes that I grilled a few days ago were over a pound a piece. Neither the missus nor I finished our steaks that night. We elected to make cheese steak sandwiches and doctor up a pizza with our leftovers. It happens.
