Grilled fish tacos always remind me of my visit to Coronado. I’m walking along a street and catch the eye of two young women at the edge of a backyard. I wave, they briefly confer, and wave for me to join them. It’s a house party. As I’m escorted into the backyard, a beer is placed in my hand. A man at a grill assembles a taco of grilled fish, marinated onions, and lime yogurt sauce for me. I’m welcomed by all present and treated as if a long-time neighbor. I lingered for awhile before thanking them and continuing on to meet my brother and sister-in-law.Fish tacos with grilled cod dusted with cumin, oregano, paprika, and garlic powder. We didn’t do the traditional cabbage/crema slaw thing, so just sour cream, lettuce, and backyardlayersmaters
Edit: damn phone. No hens were sacrificed for this meal!

Very. I miss the vibe of the old location. It was a total hole in the wall. The new owners have gone more up scale with the new building. But the chicken is still great.
Yummy!!Fajitas on the flattop.
