What did you have for dinner?

Was not looking forward to the lemon pepper chicken, so it was shredded and made chicken and dumplings for the first time. Was quite good and can see making this again on cold nights. Can't wait for leftovers tomorrow!

How sad, but so thoughtful of you!

I do an ARK at least once a month. It's an amazing feeling. I've bought dinner for an older couple (hubby said the little man kept looking around when they walked out like he wasn't sure if it was okay to leave since he didn't pay anything  ), two young women and a little girl (their reaction was PRICELESS! both of them kept looking around like they weren't sure what they were supposed to do), and a family of four (and their server picked up the pay at the table gadget and brought it to our table and I'm saying NO! Don't stop here! They can't know who it is!! Haha!!). The servers (our table and the one I'm buying) always get huge tips. I didn't have the money to do anything like this when I was younger. I'm blessed beyond belief with the love I have in my life, and I hope and pray the people who get their dinner paid for leave feeling inspired and loved. We've gotta change the world. Even if it's just one anonymous dinner, maybe it'll make a difference?

My wife's "big salad" - the usual greens 'n' such plus shredded baked chicken & chick peas this time around.

beef tips with mushroom gravy, corn and peas from the garden.
Mexican cornbread with cracklins, ice tea.

On the rare occasion that I travel to Buckhead in metro Atlanta, I try to time it for when the White House restaurant is serving made-from-scratch chicken 'n' dumplings for lunch. Mm mm, good!
