Yep, I give him a pass somewhat on Kiffin. But how in the world could you pick Dooley over Sumlin?

I was excited about an NFL coach. I thought that was exciting. He was a successful coordinator on a USC team that won a NC or 2....

A reject NFL coach? Charlie Strong won two NC at Florida calling the plays, something Kiffin never did at USC.

If you disagree from me then you disagree with me, but I still see nothing in strong or these other guys that impresses me at the present. If you think you can change that then you must be challenged.


So speak up, what are you expecting from the next coach. If we hire strong or any of the rest, what do you think will be successful for them?

Agree. It is pretty tough. We return many starters on D though. A 4-3 would do the D more justice. Oline, RB's look pretty good. I assume Bray,CP,Hunter,J James are gone, but , under the right QB coach ,Worley,Peterman,Ferguson should develop well. Meredith coming off redshirt. Bynum may end up being a good LB too. Need better secondary in general, but it can be masked a little by running more cover 2 and cover 3 out of a 4-3. want to try and keep the bar at least kind of high since they are walking into a poop storm and many will be pissed if we don't get Gruden. I'll go with losses to bama, oregon automatically, in fact i think Oregano already scored. Uscjr and georgia lose some bigtime players. Florida could go either way , depending on specifically who we get and what style of O and D they run

You do know kiffin didn't call the plays at USC. Tell us one thing that made you excited about Kiffin. I know the answer but just admit it.

It's going to be interesting to see what coach will even take the HC at Tennessee. One thing about it, no one can blame anyone but UT for this disaster. I guess we'll have to get behind anyone who will take on this sad program.

Coached NFL, was going to bring his NFL dad, and coached at USC during 2 NC runs. Also was going to bring the ogeron who could recruit players anywhere.

1) World Peace
2) End of hunger worldwide
3) Seven wins in year one; ten wins in year two.
4) Three national championships between 2015-2024

A good motivator and someone that will have a team ready to play. Someone that can finally make adjustments at halftime that amaze us when we see another coach do it. Someone that can walk into any young mans home and be at home. Someone that can bring in the best assistants money can buy and let them coach um up. Someone that will speak to us the fans, include us in the program. Some one that breeds confidence when he is around. Someone that tries to win with 40 secs left, tied, with two time outs on the 40 yard line, someone that believes in the maxims.....:whistling:

Do you know who Strong and Fedora are are bringing in as coaches? How many championships did Strong win? He actually called the plays unlike Kiffin where the real OC was Sarkisian. He was awful as an NFL coach, he was an assistant like Dooley on a NC team. Btw how much excitement did Monte bring in the end? He was awful and resigned. The point of all this, exciting is not what we need. We need a good coach like a Strong or Fedora. The excitement will be there after they coach, not before.
