I am just wondering who is considered a home run hire now that Gruden is out?? And I think the first thoughts on our new coach will be what he does on the recruiting trail this year..

It sucks because practically all of our big games are away games.

Yep, unfortunately and shamefully , I am now wishing we had bought out the Oregano game. We don't really have a lot to gain by going out there and getting whooped by 40. I think they just scored on us already

Strong's wins and recruiting record isn't that great, look it up. Spend the money, get a very good coach and lay out good money for the assistants and we will be great again. Hopefully this will bring some stability and that is what we need most to build the program back up. IMO

I agree. And if it is such a great coach then why would [Jimbo Fisher] leave his job and come to Tennessee?

This. It makes no sense. I bleed orange but would have a hard time leaving that school, that recruiting base, and that conference where you can be 6-6 and be in the championship game and play for a BCS bowl.

I agree. FSU is one of the easiest jobs in the country-USC is pretty ez too. Louisville seems pretty ez too(conference)

Wow. Ohio State sure made a mistake hiring Meyer over the man truly responsible for the NC's.

Look at the track record of highly successful SEC defensive coordinators becoming head coaches at big time programs. It's VERY successful.
