What does Florida week mean to you?

Something like this....

Sadly...Florida week, Bamma Week and ANY other week means NOTHING until this program is relevant again!!

It means the Vols will find a way to lose to the Gators.

Mind numbing close loss against Urban's first teams? Check.

Blowout loss against Urban's team and Spurrier? Check.

Competitive, hey maybe we have a chance false hope loss against Muschamp? Check.

Eight straight losses with a 9nth on the way? Check.

I was at the 2008 Florida game when Florida absolutely demolished us. I looked down at the recruit section after a big score or turnover by UF and a bunch of the recruits were doing the Gator chomp.

I wanted to beat that class so bad, but those years have come and gone. I was especially looking forward to it last year because it would have been a few of those recruits' last year and we could have beat them in the same stadium where they Gator chomped in the stands 4 years prior. Alas, there was the Dooley/Sunseri debacle and we let them off the hook.

This is what the rivalry has been to me for the past 10 or so years:
2003: Feels good, man.
2004: A high we haven't felt since.
2005:  "This Meyer guy isn't Zook"
2006:  "This Tebow guy is a problem" Also, screaming at refs all night. I had Pneumonia for this game but still went, despite a 102 degree fever. I stayed the whole time and had to go to the hospital the next week. Gave my all for Tennessee.
2007: This can't be happening. Turned it off early.
2008: This is really happening.
2009: "I can't hear you, Rocky Top is playing" was the only saving grace. That and I wanted EB to destroy Tebow. I will say that the EB-Tebow collision was the last "Oh my God this is about to happen" moment that I have from this series. When Tebow went outside and I saw Berry coming straight at him I was convinced a crater would be the only thing left. Berry (admittedly) lost, so did we.
2010: I can't wait until we have a good team and can stick it to Meyer
2011: The loss hurt, but the Hunter injury really dashed my hopes for the season. I was very distraught about this game. I went through the complete range of emotions while coping with the fact that our season was likely over following Hunter's injury (it was).
2012: I was so excited for the atmosphere of this game and the chance of us finally beating Florida again, at home, in front of everyone. I dreamed the whole week of partying up and down the strip with the goalposts and everyone singing "Rocky Top" all night. We all know how the game went, and I ended the night inhaling cigars from Gator fans who lit up on the strip to rub it in.

2013:

I'm probably going to numb myself well before game time. I knew that we didn't have a chance against Oregon, but I was stone sober for the game and it still hurt.

I just hope that we keep it close and at least gain some momentum or earn some sort of respect leaving The Swamp. If Butch beats UF at UF I'll probably get a tattoo.

Please no injuries. Please no QB headcase scenario that drags on all year. Please no Oregon score.

I hate it because on the Sunday after the game, I'm like, "FuXX! We have to wait a whole freaking year AGAIN!" Plus the fact that one Doug Dickey left to coach them, then had an all american QB, who had a daughter, who married Lane Kiffin.

Growing up in Florida in the late 90's this has always been the game of the year. I hate UF and living among them all just makes me hate them more. We could lose every game except UF and I would still be smiling. F*** Florida forever and always
