What game you personnally attended is your favorite

2001 in the Swamp. Spurrier's last game. Gator fans were so nice to us that day because they almost felt sorry for us they were gonna beat us so bad.

We Gator chopped them out of their own stadium, and circled the stadium singing Rocky Top. The Saban curse unfortunately began the next week, but that game in the Swamp was my favorite.

2004 Florida.

2009 Alabama and 2010 LSU were both also a lot of fun to attend other than the heartbreaking endings.

1980 vs USC we lost 20-17 but it was the last time i went to a game with my dad and grandaddy before my grandaddy passsed away

82 vs Vandy again a loss but it was the only game me and my other grandaddy went to together, poured rain all day

84 vs Bama nuff said

95 georgia got married that week

01 vandy the crowd was electric, and vandy's coach hollered go get florida as he walked off of the field

Many more but these are special to me

1999 Notre Dame. Bob Davie in an interview several years later cited that as the most intense atmosphere he'd ever brought a team into.

Tee Martin was so unbelievable in that game. After a slow start his sr. year, he caught fire and for the UGA, Notre Dame, and a top 5 ranked Bama team, he played like the best quarterback in the country and was untouchable.

2006 Cal. 2007 Georgia. Both were thrashings.
2006 Florida even though we lost. great game though.
2006 Air Force

'98 Fiesta Bowl hands down. The anticipation in the air over winning a NC, and the ominously talented FSU team with Peter Warlick was the best game experience in my 48 years of Vol football.

1998 Florida game hands down. Just stood and drank it all in as thousands rushed the field. Then walking back to my car and getting passed on the strip by a hoard of fans carrying part of the goal posts. Awesome.

2007 at Kentucky. 4 OT game. Not sure I've ever been more cold. I went to game with both UT and UK fans. We built up big lead and I shouted across my UK friends to my UT friends "Hey, we going to Atlanta next weekend for the SEC Championship game?" Almost famous last words as UK came back and game goes to overtime. UK has field goal to win and break the long losing streak to UT. Big Dan Williams blocks the attempt. Bunch of tremendous catches and tackles in that game. Absolutely crazy atmosphere.

The 98 UT v. UF game...was on the 50 yard line, upper deck as a student. Had seats with my gf and roomates. Still look at the picture of us with the field behind us as the goal posts come down and smile. In fact, I still have the shakers and ticket stubs from that game.

Arkansas that same year was an amazing game, at least about the last five minutes.

Since I graduated in 2002, the game that sticks out is Cal in 2006. That stadium felt like it did back in the "glory days" and UT could have named the score but pulled off the gas a little.

The last "good game" that I saw was UGA in 2007, I believe. Truth be told, I didn't make it into the stadium because we got up by three touchdowns or something before I made it to the gates. I sold my tickets for about double face value and went down to the strip to drink and watch it on TV.

2006 GA between the hedges. At halftime dudes parachuted onto the 50 yd line, and then the comeback commenced.

It was beautiful - Ainge picked them apart, qe had a blocked punt in the endzone, awesome. My friends and I were waaaaay up in the upper deck, but moved down to field level as the dawgs began filing out of the stadium. We sang and partied a bit down there, and as we're leaving this nice security guard says, "Thanks for coming." My friend responds with "Thanks for having us... and for lettin' us have you!" We then almost got into a fight with some UGA fratboys who yelled at us from their front porch.

I've not been to many games, but that one was definitely tops.

98 NC by far! The flight out of Memphis was met by incoming flights from Knoxville and Nashville and the entire plane to Phoenix was solid orange singing Rocky Top. I wont mention getting on stage at a local bar in Tempe and singing a CDB tune half lit in front of a at least a thousand people and I cant sing. Sun Devil stadium literally shook with Peerless streaking down the sidelines.

I have never been to a game at Neyland. I plan to change that next year. Tough to make it when your kids are in swim meets every weekend. :) I did go to the Arkansas game in 2006 on the hill. I had tickets to the 2007 game, but my brother (Arkansas Fan) cancelled on me the week before the game and I sold them on ebay. I should have gone anyway.

I went to my first and only game at Neyland last year vs Montana. LOVED IT! The thunderstorm at the beginning sucked cause I didn't get to see the players run out of the "T". But game day in Knoxville was a blast. No team even comes close when it comes to pregame traditions and tailgating. I will be back!

1985 UCLA game. We tied 26-26. UCLA was ranked in the top 5, UT was not ranked at all. The next week was Auburn I believe, we crushed them and Bo Jackson. Tony Robinson was on the cover of SI. The 85 team IMO, was the most underrated team of all Tennessee teams.

2008 Wyoming game. I enjoy attending away games against SEC teams. Ole Miss was another fun one. I guess we have a knack for beating sec teams... gotta love playing at sea level!

Miracle in South Bend. I was standing with one leg in the end zone beside a security guard. When the kick was attempted we both went all the way into end zone and it looked good from the side. When we saw the Vol players jumping up and down fans started running onto the field. I was one of them, we marched up and down the field with players, band, and lots of fans. During this entire time the security never said anything to me, I am still grateful to these people for allowing us to have a unforgettable moment. I also brought back some grass from the field, I still have it !!

84' leaving stadium, turning around on the ramp and watching a Tony Robinson (poor bastard) comeback against Bama! Our tix were in KK but when we went back to the game we sat in the empty seats in O section and it was a totally different game. Oneday I hope to have season tixs in the same section just because of watching this game as a 13 yr. old.
