Bad take imo. I swear a lot of y’all are looking for any excuse to crap on our players. It’s pitiful.Just my opinion, but I think the coaches are tired of him trying to tap out in the middle of a drive when we want to keep the defense from subbing. I've never seen Small or Samson do that, but Wright does it every game.
He's your bulldozer. He does have to sub more.. I'm still scratching my head as to why we haven't used him in short down and distance more. Especially when we slow the game down inside the 20's. We go fast all the way down to that point then go slow.Might just be me seeing things but it seems he needs a sub much more often than the others. He's a great back but the others seem to be better when we're running fast and don't sub.
Not trying to dis Wright, I love his running style. I just wish he was better conditioned, or at least had more situational awareness. How has he not learned yet why, when he taps, he's still not getting subbed out? Are the coaches not explaining it or is he just not getting it?Bad take imo. I swear a lot of y’all are looking for any excuse to crap on our players. It’s pitiful.
Yeah I’m sure the coaches are tired of him running for 120 plus against rushing defenses only giving up 80 rushing yards a game.
Because the man is ripping 10 yard runs off like it's nothing. I just don't see why we don't go to another player on the field and let him rest a play. Keeps them from subbing. The coaches have openly admitted to fresh players performing better. This is no different. You wouldn't run fade routes to your receivers multiple times in a row.Wright is very good. He just can't carry the ball over 3 times without wanting to come out
I’ve seen them all do it. Wright fights for yardage every run and strains like no other. I forgive him for wanting a blow!!Just my opinion, but I think the coaches are tired of him trying to tap out in the middle of a drive when we want to keep the defense from subbing. I've never seen Small or Samson do that, but Wright does it every game.
I've seen all three of them do it enough to wonder if that means what we always thought it meant.Just my opinion, but I think the coaches are tired of him trying to tap out in the middle of a drive when we want to keep the defense from subbing. I've never seen Small or Samson do that, but Wright does it every game.
Yeah, good observation. I’ve noticed that tonight also. At least twice this after a run he seem to be motioning to the sidelines he needed to rotate out. We didn’t sub him out any of the times I noticed him motioning. I thought it was weird as we all know we don’t until we’re like 10 plays into a drive. Maybe it was a result of him being banged up?Just my opinion, but I think the coaches are tired of him trying to tap out in the middle of a drive when we want to keep the defense from subbing. I've never seen Small or Samson do that, but Wright does it every game.
