What has to happen for Tennessee to get into the playoffs now?

This will help you calculate the future standings in the SEC ... the picture is BLEAK ... AND THAT IS ME BEING POSITIVE!!!
Calculate till your heart is content ...

Bleak’s an understatement. At this point from what I’m seeing, Tennessee doesn’t have a combination that results in it winning the tiebreakers for the second spot…LSU losing to UF really hurt even the slightest opportunities (had LSU won and won out, with a certain play out a 3-way between LSU, UGA, and TN could have been created after TN lost to UGA that still forced TN through to the second spot in the SEC Championship Game (based on records vs common opponents, ie the Alabama win being the difference).

That Florida win over LSU pretty much sealed it shut.

Edit: I finally found 1:

It requires a 3-team tie with Texas, Ole Miss, and TN all at 2-conference losses

…but it requires that Kentucky beat Texas

Along with:
Auburn beating A&M
Texas beating A&M
Oklahoma or Auburn beating Alabama
Ole Miss beating BOTH Florida AND Miss State
And Tennessee beating Vanderbilt

But I think that’s absolutely it.

Last week two teams moved ahead of us for (very narrowly) beating teams that probably aren’t going to bowls. The committee was already positioning us so they could drop us as far as possible. No chance we’re in the top 12 Tuesday. I’d be unsurprised to see Colorado ahead of us
It doesn’t matter if we’re ranked 14th this week we’re still making the playoffs. Sorry to break the news to you

Right but he's saying in that scenario they lose to Texas also. 2 losses.
And it’s a program designed to determine SEC conference championship participants based on the conference records of the teams involved in the ties.

In conference, A&M is currently 5-1. If they beat Auburn next week and lost to Texas, they would be 6-2 in conference play…they wouldn’t have 3 conference losses in SEC play just from losing to Texas.

Their game against Notre Dame wouldn’t factor into whether or not they passed the tiebreakers to make it to the SEC Championship game, thus it’s not in there.

I’m presuming he’s confused and either (1) thought it was a calculator determining whether teams would make the playoffs in certain scenarios or (2) mistakenly thought A&M’s second loss was to another SEC team (and not an OOC game against Notre Dame).

Sorry, maybe I'm not being clear. Texas AM currently has 1 conference loss. In the "calculator", we have them losing to Texas, giving them 2 conference losses.

However, when you select them as the loser of the Texas game, then run the calculator, it still shows them as having 1 conference loss, not 2.

Payoff the officials who deliberately tanked us tonight and tell them to let their buddies know that there is 10x that for each official that helps to tank GA or Bama or Tx in the next two weeks

Not sure what’s creating your issue. It’s not doing the same when I try it:

See, two conference losses. Are you sure you clicked on Texas beating A&M in your input and not possibly A&M beating Texas instead?

We will probably end up being ranked #12 in the playoff spot, which to me would be the best sead to drawl. Watch this lost work out in our favor to make a deep run

Bro, they were already trying to set the narrative tonight that UGA with 3 losses should get consideration, while saying a loss for us meant it was over.

No way we are getting in at 10-2.

Lololol. Number 1 it wasn’t they. It was Herbstreit who is emotionally damaged right now because his dog died (no judgement from me). Even Fowler was almost stuttering to find a polite way to tell him to get bent

Almost every fan base is gonna day there is clear bias. There isn’t. Those who say that are trying to make excuses.
Our own coach was very clearly frustrated with it in his post game press conference. There’s too much money involved now for there not to be. Almost every major sport has it, especially the NFL. Hell the NBA literally had refs fixing games a number of years ago. We won our game last week by 19. Who did Indiana or BYU beat to justify passing us in the “rankings”? Has-been Michigan by 5 and unranked Utah by 1 helped by a controversial call. Michigan’s AD is chair of the playoff committee. Lots of shenanigans happen every year now in multiple games across the sport. Miami has been helped along a couple times this year. Maybe it happens for us soon if we have a Heisman candidate on our team or the media decides we’re a darling. Or better yet we manage to get someone with ties to the university on the committee.
