Mini sessions start the first of May and end at the end of May, first session starts end of May/first of June and end at the beginning of July and the second session starts around July 5th or 6th and ends around August 7th.

Almost all freshmen take classes that first session if they're in.

Thanks for the update scooter. I was curious if he actually had classes yet. The poster I was replying to indicated that Davante was having a tard time in the class at the present time. It's good to know he had had a class at one point or another.

Unless someone does something unethical or illegal, fans should just chill out. Yes, we are upset that he left because we all saw his potential, but I will never bash a kid for being homesick or missing his family.

Lmao... doubt it. She is a Bama fan and was proud to be escorting one of our players out of town. She's not my only sister that is a Bama fan. They didn't like Bama when we were beating them. They were UT fans until we sucked. I am so glad we are going to beat them this year! I'm tired of losing that game and hearing the smack talk. My mom and I were so pissed after that Terrence Cody FG block.

Freshman running back Davante Bourque is not currently with the team as he deals with unspecified personal issues, GoVols247 reported Saturday.

Bourque suffered a neck injury earlier in camp that Dooley compared to "whiplash."

Dooley told GoVols247 that he couldn't say when or even if Bourque would return to the team.

He misses his kid.

His mom says he misses the kids momma more so he's back in La. being a dumb kid and throwing away a great opportunity.

That's the rumor anyway so TIFWIW.

I wish him the best regardless. Nothing will ever trump the love you have for your child. Even if he misses a huge opportunity, he will find his place in the world and will have his family and that's all you need honestly.

I hope he returns but wouldn't be upset if he didn't cause he's gotta do what is right and what's best for his situation.
