What is ultimately at stake tomorrow

It’s not making up rules. It is simple logic. Creation means that something begins to exist that didn’t exist BEFORE. The word “before” only has meaning in relation to time. So when you are pointing out the assumed need of an infinite regression of “creators” of subsequent creators; you are necessarily implying that time existed before there was time. In a timeless existence before time began, there is no logical reason to see a need for a creator of a creator because it is nonsensical.
It really isn’t hard to understand. Any concept related to time is meaningless in a state in which time doesn’t exist. There is no “before time” because “before” requires time

Apparently your creator existed before time, which makes its creation unrequired? And this is possible because, "simple logic" and it's "nonsensical" to need a creator of a creator.

Stop me if I'm getting this wrong.

a man in a suit and tie is making a funny face and saying `` lol '' .

Checkmate then I guess.

Collect your nobel prize at the door on the way out, you've solved the problem of infinite regression by logic and sense. Grat's.

Your very first sentence shows that you don’t quite get what I am saying. The is no “before time”. That is the (to me) nonsensical part.
But I guess I am just not doing a good job explaining myself and I guess I don’t quite understand your point of view either.
I do Not claim to have “solved” any problems; especially one that much MUCH greater minds than mine have struggled with for centuries. I just wished to explain something that made sense to me as a possible way I have found that helps “square the circle” for me at least.
Not trying to argue just discuss.

It’s not just used for acts of nature but that’s ok, you do you. I bet you’re right there with luther wearing your face diaper alone in your car.

You seem to be engaging in an argument that no one else is involved in.

While the Executive IS involved, you're giving all the credit or blame to the Pitcher instead of seeing what went on with the other players and what sort of team he was up against.

In this case, it IS basic economics that when Congress and the Fed made decisions to inject money to avert a recession they knew it would come with an inflationary period after. It was known. To whine that somehow Joe Biden caused it (or anyone else could have prevented it) is stupid, as that inflation ball was rolling under Trump and continued under Biden. And 2 different parties in charge of Congress.

And why have a president if they don't control economic decisions? Oh, I dunno, maybe Article II would help you there.
I have a feeling you’re going to see this 20+% inflation calm a bit in the next year when trump puts pen to paper on tariffs, regulation, etc. Then you will just come with the excuse “Biden started all of this”. It’s laughable to act like things just ticked up a few cents in the last few years. We’re not talking a few cents, we’re talking record inflation. Not that long ago as a 24 year old making 75K a year I felt pretty fortunate. House, cars, vacations, etc. Ask a 25 year old now what a 75K salary will get them.

A 75k salary will still provide an ample living for somebody.

Thing is, you'll struggle to provide for a family in about half the places in this country on that.

If I made 75k at 24 I’d been like a pig is shizz. That was rich.

No one is acting like it's a few cents. But real wages are up over inflation. Again, we knew there would be inflation when the gov't spent money to prevent recession.
Why is it we don't take Trump at his word? Why do we just assume he won't do the batshit things he says? That's such a wild way to live. "HE DIDN'T SAY THAT BUT IF HE DID HE DIDN'T MEAN IT HE SAID IT. BUT WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TRUMP IS HE'S A MAN OF HIS WORD."

What batshit things did he say he’s doing?

I mean, here's
What batshit things did he say he’s doing?
Here's a whole list from his presidency:

But "200% tarrifs on Ukraine" that he "called Putin and said don't escalate" (Putin says this didn't happen) that he will be "your retribution" etc etc etc

Lol. I don’t believe you but if that is the case it’s only because you omit the inflation on almost everything that affects folks. How can you accurately calculate inflation but disregard things like food and energy?

No one likes inflation, but it's now back down to a normal level. Prices aren't going *down* (deflation) unless our economy slips into a recession. Then you get into the whole issue of it not mattering what eggs cost if you've got no income.

Re: Energy, we are seeing pretty affordable gas and electricity currently. United States Energy Inflation

Lmfao please be specific. How exactly will Elon destroy the economy

The first part is pretty easy to see. The idea we'd come out of it better with him and a VC "I'm the smartest guy in the room" Vivek....I dunno about that.

Lmfao so Musk will improve the economy? And you’re going to pretend that is something bad?

If you have even a minor understanding of economics, this should make perfect sense to you. Yes, cutting spending will cause short term decreases in GDP. However it will be a long term net benefit

Psalms 37 29 says the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever. If you believe the sun is going to kill us all one day then doesn't that mean that life as we know has an expiration date, be it a "judgement day" or otherwise.

I guess if you believe the sun is going to kill everything one day, that is a belief in science. Shouldn't a belief in faith say that God can maintain the sun indefinitely?

Good post. I see the logic in this.

Conversely, those who know of the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah logically conclude we are already living on "borrowed time" or as believers call it "Grace".
