What Michigan Fans Think About Joe Milton Starting at UT

Oh so you think I’m backpedaling? No, I stand by my post which is that I can’t think of a single player that got a lot better under Harbaugh. I’m sure a few did at positions that don’t jump out, I just can’t think of any like Mullen develops players and QBs

That’s backpedaling.

It’s consistent with what I posted originally.

" I can’t think of a single player that got a lot better under Harbaugh. I’m sure a few did at positions that don’t jump out"

That is a backpeddle my friend.

“I can’t think of a single player” means simply I can’t think of one. Doesn’t mean that they don’t exist.

What exactly is your problem? I know you’re determined to get some kids “gotcha” moment out of this exchange, but it’s not really working out for you.

Nah, just pointing out the first post was a ridiculous statement (as many many posters have also said) and when that was pointed out the backpeddling started. Its all good, I'm out on this one, bon jour.

I always thought JG's best move would be to transfer and hit the "reset". We all recognize his flaws but he could overcome them and have a good year at WSU.

Milton frustrated Michigan fans like JG frustrated us. You could see physical talent but it never translated.

IOW's, wait and see on Milton... and take anything Michigan fans say with a grain of salt. They're bitter that a guy they had high hopes for didn't perform... and probably a little fearful that he will perform at UT and tell them something about their coach and program that they don't want to hear.

Fans will always hate a guy when he leaves their beloved program. Remember how people here blasted Jalen Hurd and treated him like a class tier-1 terrorist.
Initially for quitting at halftime of the SC game. Afterwards for interviews at Baylor. I defend his accomplishments…not his personality.

If I had to choose a coach with the temperament and expertise to "reclaim" a QB who did not thrive under Harbaugh, Heupel would definitely be in my top five.

Then……he’s gone.

I dislike Harbaugh, but I dislike OSU much, much more. In the long run, given Harbaugh is not a very good coach, it is probably in our best interest if he hangs around. Plus, I would very much like to see OSU sitting on the sidelines come playoff time.

Edit: Corrected no to not.

Agree…..but I simply don’t see him beating OSU.

Hairball is in YEAR 7 and hasn’t moved the needle! I generally pull for blue v. Buck heads (UGAX2 arrogant cocky fans) fwiw. It is interesting seeing how some UM fans are shading players to spare the coach. Sounds familiar!

“many many”? Like 3? Lol, go look at my original post, a lot more people agreed and liked it than had an issue with it.

Well, they must be developing them ok to get that many drafted, the point about their wins/losses probably more about their schemes and gameplans/game day coaching. They seem to develop players, hence all the draft picks. The original thread responded to the poster said he could not remember one player who ever was developed under Harbaugh. That’s all.

I think Harbaugh is a decent coach. Although it is somewhat odd on having that many kids drafted yearly and that many wins to never really be in play for a NC. The kicker is you don't really even have any talk of them making the playoffs. They are in a fairly weak conference. Are they being developed or just out talenting the other weaklings in the conf.

I have family that has season tickets to Michigan. They said he looked like cam newton but struggled with accuracy and pressure but said different coaching philosophy could help him tremendously.
