don’t confuse production with development. he wasn’t developed in the NFL. He was unleashed, not developed. Where that happened I don’t know. I also don’t know where you give coaches credit for development and when you give it to players. But it seems like if you’re having constant success in the draft, for a league that would rather cut you than pay you to sit the bench or run scout team, then something is happening at Michigan. So Kamara was drafted on his production at Tennessee?

You specifically said you couldn’t name one. how closely do you follow Michigan? You real familiar with their roster, the star ratings of their starting 22 the last few years?I tend to think if you’re developing the talent you recruit, you win a lot more than you lose. That’s not happening for the most part with JH

They are WAY better than Ohio St. fans.
Sure, just make sure you give butch Jones credit for Alvin Kamara as well
Not a fan of either fan base, but Loyd Carr won a natty at Michigan in 1997.At least OSU has a reason to be elitist assholes. They get results. Perennial championship contenders. Absolutely zero lapse between Urban Meyer and Ryan Day.
Michigan fans are still riding the Bo Schembechler wave (no national championships, below .500 in bowls).
If you ever question this, they pull out the "better academics" and "winningest program" even though one of those wins was against a high school team in 1891.
Michigan fans are WAY worse.
Yeah - mediocre. Under Harbaugh, they have only finished above 3rd place in East division of the Big10 one time; they have only finished the season ranked in the top 10 nationally one time. I would call that pretty mediocre, LOL.Mediocre?? Outside of the wonky covid year, they've won 10 games 3 out of 5 seasons under Harbaugh and the other 2 were 9 wins and 8 wins lol. I'd take that in a heartbeat.
I always love these “what other fans are saying” threads. I always read them and picture in my mind which of you on this site would say these things. It cracks me up because really, we’re all the same. The Joe Milton thread on one of the Michigan forums is pretty interesting. 117 comments. Not sure if I'm allowed to link, but mods can delete if not:

Overall, Michigan fans seem pretty divided on whether Milton's failure there was the fault of Harbaugh or Milton.
Some comments:
Lots of opinions from Michigan fans. The debates over there remind me of VN.
I'm still skeptical that Milton is going to dramatically improve this year, and yet weirdly optimistic. I doubt he'll have any issues vs BG (and I'm hoping we win big and Hooker / Bailey get some playing time), so the real tests are Pitt and Florida. Regardless, this is the best part of the season: we're undefeated!
GBO!

Does three 10 win seasons, a 9 win season and an 8 win season count as winning more than you lose? This can be spun anyway you would like to get around your initial post that not a single player you are aware of has ever been developed under his staff, but any spin will end in futility because it was such an outlandish statement to make and you just cannot back it up.
P.S.: Saw where you started slipping in phrases like "for the most part" now. Coming down off that ledge a little is a smart move.
The last time that I gave 1/32 of a flying f*** about anything from someone affiliated with UM was on the 5th of never. Thanks for the info though! The Joe Milton thread on one of the Michigan forums is pretty interesting. 117 comments. Not sure if I'm allowed to link, but mods can delete if not:
