Woodsman, you never served in the military, I take it? Maybe Air Force, in some support role like finance or IT?
I understand that some folks like to go through life humble and meek.
Others of us don't. We tend to be more confident. In ourselves, in our team, in our nation, and in just about every other tribe, large or small, we're a part of.
It is, in fact, the Tennessee way to be a fighter, to volunteer for hardship, to put ourselves on the front line. That doesn't come without confidence and self-assurance.
This isn't us letting off steam. It's just how we are.
So call us arrogant if you wish. But I believe we're the ones representing the spirit of Tennessee. I'm not sure what part of the world the humble and meek crowd represent; Delaware, maybe? The Virgin Islands?
Heh.
Go Vols!
