What other message boards are saying (Arkansas Pre-Game Edition)

If Pittman is let go, then Arkansas needs to start over and forget about Petrino as well. There are a lot of coaches out there to choose from with longer shelve lives.
Tend to agree but the nostalgia from 2010-11 is hard to resist

Does anyone seriously believe that this coach will allow a "trap game" mentality?

Sorry, but "BVS" is the ultimate loser talk.
For some like myself it’s not as much bvs as being grounded and realistic. We still have some ? That will be answered soon enough. The truth is we haven’t played a complete team yet. OU was supposed to be that game but their offense is atrocious. Our defense is great I believe. I think Nico will be great with experience. Our O line can make or break this season depending on injuries. Bama may very well be the first game where we truly see both sides of the ball opened up and see where we stand.

There's a big difference between being realistic and wallowing in the past as if it has the slightest relevance to what's going on with this program today. I'll be the first to say that you can't look past any SEC game, especially on the road, and that this group has some things to work on offensively. That's being realistic, but it doesn't preclude us from enjoying this amazing ride.

Oh, and is it possible that our defense had a lot to do with OU's offense being atrocious? And that Heupel shut it down in the 2nd half due less to Nico's inexperience than to the OL injuries and the awful field conditions? Just saying.

If Cal beats the U, then 6 of the top 11 lost today. They are up 21-10 in the 2nd.

We a'ight.
