Arion Carter seemed to do a pretty good job against OU's freshman once they put him in that role. Hopefully that is still the game plan, and as others said its crucial practice for Milroe.Hopefully we will have a spy on him the whole game. His legs are the only way they can move the chains consistently . Stop him from escaping out of the pocket and we win . He’s all they got anyhow. His passing accuracy while under pressure is awful. I don’t see this as a trap game . It’s an easy W.
I would like to see Heupel run the offense the full game. treat it like a scrimmage if you want. But we haven't put on a full game of effort on offense. I would like to see that happen. because I don't think we have another chance before Bama. UF is worse than Ark, even with their vodoo.
Because you've seen it happen before across multiple sports. Arky has no pressure. Playing at home and with everyone telling them how awful they are and UT is gonna put up video game numbers on them. They'll come out on fire and throwing punches. If we show up expecting it to be easy....well....like I said, we've seen it happen before.Wish I was as optimistic as they were pessimistic. I think we win but I don’t know about covering 14 points.
My guess is, a lot of this talk is going around Fayetteville, and the players are hearing it.Arky fans in shambles. I don’t see this being a 40+ beatdown like they seem to believe, but I do see us winning by around 20.
Billy Ratliffe told the offense to get ready to come back in and he pushed the center back visciously and caused him to step on Clint's foot causing the stumble and fumble. Team of destiny UT was that year. We got the breaks when we needed them and made the breaks as well!Clint Stoerner (spell) is our hero. If not for his timely fumble no Natty for us.
You’re entitled to your feelings, but you’re confused as to what rational means. “Rational” is looking at how bad Florida is and expecting a win. What you’re describing is a decidedly emotional response.I want to believe this so bad, but my rational side is thinking Napier will bench his starter and bring in a random frat guy from the student section who then throws for 600 yards and saves Napier’s job.
The rampant arrogant overconfidence spouted by some of our fans, sigh! It too Bama, Ga, and Fla-ish for my tastes. A big part of me understands. After suffering from BVS for so long, letting off some steam is understandable. Just he same, I suggest a big helping of:

For your viewing pleasure. Hope it soothes your hurt feelings, though that NEVER was my intention nor object of my post. But some folks, well, you know, they got tender spots on their anatomy, and/or cerebral areas. Makes them hypersensitive. And stop trying to Walz me.Woodsman, you never served in the military, I take it? Maybe Air Force, in some support role like finance or IT?
I understand that some folks like to go through life humble and meek.
Others of us don't. We tend to be more confident. In ourselves, in our team, in our nation, and in just about every other tribe, large or small, we're a part of.
It is, in fact, the Tennessee way to be a fighter, to volunteer for hardship, to put ourselves on the front line. That doesn't come without confidence and self-assurance.
This isn't us letting off steam. It's just how we are.
So call us arrogant if you wish. But I believe we're the ones representing the spirit of Tennessee. I'm not sure what part of the world the humble and meek crowd represent; Delaware, maybe? The Virgin Islands?
Heh.

I know it did originate from Saban but coining a phrase to a sector means the phrase is now being used in college football family because of Nick Saban and people that follow him closely. Rat poison has been around forever but never heard it in Football lingo until after Sabans news conferenceView attachment 683053
The term "rat poison" has been around since, well, since humans have been poisoning rats. I'm thinking at least the Black Death days in medieval Europe, but don't put it past the ancient Greeks or Romans to have been there first.
If not someone 10,000 years before that. Or 100,000.
Nick Saban coined the phrase, my butt. All he did was apply it to college football. And probably wasn't even the first to do that.
