What Other Message Boards Are Saying (Kentucky Edition)

Post after post of pure delusion. Suddenly they’re on Bama’s level? We’re the only team in the nation with 4 wins over ranked teams, and they ask who we’ve played! Their defense has zero chance of stopping either facet of our offense. We’ll push them around the entire game, run and pass at will. Going to get ugly quick.

The only reason the defenses we've played rate slightly lower than the defenses Kentucky has played is because we've bombed everyone we played and rolled up yards and points on them, lowering their defensive ranking. Kentucky has actually made defenses look better with their horrid offense (83rd). Ole Miss in no way compares to us. They are a run heavy offense and are 78th in the country in passing. Miss State runs a volume passing offense with no running. They have 325 pass attempts on the season and we have 189 but we average more yards per game and of course, way more yards per attempt. Miss State throws to the flat and uses passes as running plays. They don't have remotely close to the WR talent we have nor are they remotely close on the vertical passing game. Their running attack is non-existent and we are 27th in the country in rushing. Miss State is 54th in the nation in total offense, we are #1. Kentucky's offensive "strength" is running the ball....scratch that, they are 107th in the country in rushing yards per game. Alabama was an actual top 10 in the nation rushing attack before we held them to half their season average. Quite literally every team we've played in 2022 averages more yards on the ground than Kentucky except for Akron.

Kentucky's 12th in points allowed. This year we scored 3x Alabama's average points allowed. 2x LSU's average points allowed, and on and on. We've scored more than the averaged allowed against every team we've played this season. On defense we've only allowed Alabama (4pts) and Florida (1pt) to score more than they average on the season. 7 of Bama's points came on defense though. Everyone else we've played we've held under their season scoring average. Kentucky generally holds teams under their average but they'd have to hold us 3 touchdowns under our average to get into the neighborhood where they score on average. Last season in Lexington we scored more than 2x what they were allowing on the season.

The diff between Bama fans and KYJelly fans.
Bama fans live in an old used doublewide
KYJelly fans live in a single wide.
I’m Ratvol and I approve this message.

Can someone please tell the slow learners in Kentucky to Google “Rocky Top?” They can easily learn that it was never written by anyone from Kentucky.

You should go read the thread talking about the early point spread, it's 5.5, now they are going off on how that should tell TN fans that they will dominate this game. I always disliked KY but after spending time reading teh crap on that board, I absolutely despise them now!

It will 10.5 by game time.

I have a few Kentucky fans around me, including my next door neighbor.

My opinion is you want them as confident as possible. If they say they think they’re going to win the game, tell them that you agree they should. Give high praise to their two decent players. Tell them that you would not be surprised to see such a complete team come out of Knoxville with a win.

It makes the meltdown and the tears sweeter.

What would really kill Kentucky fans is knowing Tennessee was the original state known for horse breeding and racing. The state assembly foolishly passed anti-horse race gambling laws and then racing shifted north to Kentucky. They wouldn't even be famous for the thing they are most famous for had our legislature not been stupid.

This one right here LOL
-First of all UT has played and beaten no one. People tried to hype their OT win over Pitt as more than it was. Then they tried to hype the win over a last second win against Florida. Then they hyped a win over a HORRIBLE LSU team. Now they're over the moon about the worst Alabama team in Saban's tenure.

That is one of the most delusional ever....lol! We have beaten an impressive slate of teams, far more impressive than theirs.

The only acknowledgement I give is that their win against UF was in Gainesville and more comfortable than ours. I give them props for that. Other than that, our schedule >>>> theirs

Controlling the clock strategy has yet to work against TN. Everyone keeps saying it, but it doesn't change the ratio of possessions in the game. You take 8 minutes and grind out a FG? OK We take 2 plays and Hyatt makes you look stupid. Bama's safeties looked like it was me trying to keep up with him, I almost felt Sorry for them until I remembered they were Gumps. But they are better that Bama? Prove it.

We were ranked #17 in 2020 lol

2020 was the year I was trying to remember. Obviously a weird year, I couldn’t remember if we had dropped out of the rankings before or after Kentucky. Honestly that season shouldn’t even count……what a mess.

I miss the game being around Thanksgiving. My moms side of the family is all located in and around Lexington/ Northern KY…they all bleed Blue. We have a former Kentucky basketball player and cheerleader in the family. Seven of my cousins went to UK. I grew up in Nashville and am the black sheep that bleeds Orange. Destroying them over Thanksgiving leftovers or ruining their tailgate are some of my fondest holiday memories.

Or Tennessee nails Levis shoulder that was banged up against Miss State and knocks him out most of the game which is possible considering how bad Kentucky's offensive line is this season.
I’m not getting the Kentucky optimism. We’re a bad match up for them. They run the ball well we stop the run well. Their line isn’t great that’s the one are of our defense that’s good. On offense, lol well we do what we like.

They actually stink at running the ball. They are 107th in the nation at it. Their OL is not good at pass protection or run blocking.

These fellas, I like them, I really do. Don't want to spend too much time with them, but I appreciate their never-surrender mindset.

Fact is, 85% of Kentucky football fans are cowering in the corner.

These comments are from the other 15%. The ones who didn't finish high school, even though they were 17 years old when they got to 9th grade. You know, the ones who drove a crappy beat-up chevy impala to junior high, parked in the teachers' parking lot. Smelled funny. Didn't say much in any of their classes, but talked a lot of crap while selling weed out by the fence at the back of the playground.

Yeah. Those fellas.

It is not surprising that they don't make much sense. But I love their combativeness.

Go Vols!

I pointed this out to my son the other day. I just want someone to quantify their assertion with any tangible, numerical, statistical evidence. Can’t be done. It’s all fiction, fantasy. From Levis’ legendary prowess(??), to their astounding secondary, to their strength of schedule, to their superior talent and recruiting…none of what they are saying is even remotely true.

It’s seems like the entire state, or maybe just the internet enabled trailer parks in Jessemine County needs group therapy.
