I expect Nico to take a step forward complimenting the run game and for the D to absolutely smother UK. UK is the worst scoring team in the SEC. They average 19.1 ppg. UT hasn't allowed anyone to score more than 19 points. UK hasn't scored more than 20 points vs a P-4 team.

UK is 15th in total O. UT is 2nd in total D.

Unless I'm wrong and Nico is actually JG with a pony tail... this is going to be "ugly" alright.

I don't see uk offering much resistance past the first quarter/half; they obviously quit at HOME vs Auburn.

I have a feeling this game will be close. Either way, Kentucky needs to hold on to Stoops. He's their best option. It's not like that school is going to attract a big name hire.

It appeared to me that the offense and Nico figured some things out in the second half last game and hopefully they continue to build on that. If so, the Vols could be potent in the last half of the season and make a serious run for the playoffs. We shall see.

Kentucky has a good mobile QB in Brock Vandagriff so the defense needs to put a lot of pressure on him. I look for the VOLS to open a can of Whoop Azz in the second half though.

He's been sacked 17 times and has not rushed for over 37 yards in any game. He completes 56% with 6 TDs and 5 INTs. He's neither mobile nor good.

then take your woman home, then raise a family, then consistenly contribute to our collective 401k, then retire, then send the kids to college, then welcome the grandbabies every Thanksgiving and Christmas, then pass away, then the kids find out papa had another family across town but mama already knew and quietly stayed by his side. Kids forgive him in his death and it brings the family closer together.

all started from us whoopin they ass this weekend! I Love it!

Did I say Vols by fiddy? Even if the Vols had lost to Bama, I still had this game as a win. I expect good / decent teams to win home game like this by a comfortable margin.

Wow, I had no idea they were so done with Stoops. Interesting. This may not be their best season, but he has turned them into a team that typically goes to a bowl.

Having said that, I do understand their frustration.

IMO though, losing him will turn them back into a doormat, so I am all for it. :)
