What Other Message Boards Are Saying (Mizzou Edition)

Did every other SEC opponent also sleep walk?

My advice...take the under

Auburn, Florida when trying to find themselves, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Kentucky. Oh so scary.

Look at K-State. That's where you want to be looking at. A real Team that wasn't sleep walking boat raced them.

We're grandfathered in.
We have.
We will again.
Who's side you on?
There's only one side for me. Not an SEC fan, I'm a Tennessee fan but some around here believe we can look down on other schools because we are having a good season. I just get tired of seeing all the $hit talk.

Chit talk is part of the fun for me.

Who's side you on was a joke. Lol.

That’s not true, still yielded a lot of revenue and the other programs picked up the slack.. also had some good seasons under Butch and one under Pruitt.. there were flashes during that time that everyone seems to forget 😂
Nobody forgot it. It's just not enough to call us relevant in the last 15 years.

Missouri played Georgia tougher than we did. They might give us a good game.
Damn, new this was coming.
post about Mizzou board talking about how bad they are gonna get beat down,

And in comes the vol being nervous about Mizzou.

Georgia was sleep walking 31/2 quarters that night and every one knows it, and Mizzou was playing like they’ve never played before.

Only way it’s close is if UT plays their worst game of the year

So realistically they could watch the Tigers get the moral victory of playing in a close game vs a great Volunteers team even though most likely the 2nd half or 2nd Quarter could still realistically be when the Volunteers make the game an embarrassment.

You are not one of those fans that was talking **** about beat Georgia and caused that backlash that got me pissed off fighting with Georgia fans all weekend?

There are these craphead Vol fans (not many of them but they are out there) that go start crap with other fanbases and than people like me deal with the fall out when we lose.

Knew not new.

I don’t think we will lose I’m definitely picking us to win. I think maybe they give us a better game than what we think. Geez

No.

I stated Tennessee would defeat Georgia in a thrilling close game 35-31 by playing a great game which hugely backfired because Georgia played a great game to easily defeat Tennessee 27-13 in a game that was highly undramatic.

I wasn’t bothered eating crow by admitting with details that I was greatly wrong about my stated game prediction for the Tennessee Georgia game.

I really don’t have the desire to be a jerk with talking trash before a game even with it being a rivalry mainly because then fans of the other team are justified to constantly make antagonistic remarks after I get proven wrong.

Friendly smacktalk is safe territory.

"According to the computer model, we have a 7 percent chance to win this game. That is correct. "

For some reason that one in particular made me laugh into my coffee cup.

I don’t know. That’s a little high in my opinion lol

The over/under is 55. I expect Tennessee to score 42+ and miss to be around 14. Don’t expect Missouri to help that over so I would go with under as well. Tennessee is gonna beat Missouri like a drum I’d take that 20 spread .

Awful advice. What other SEC team have they played worth a damn? Lol We will hit high 30s before halftime

Georgia is worth a dam, I think.

Georgia struggled to score 26 on them. Of course, that was on the road and uga obviously barely bothered to show up, but I will be very (pleasantly) surprised if we hit 50.

I meant other than Georgia.

Other than Georgia the only other team they've played that's worth anything is KState and they boat raced Mizzou.

Missouri is playing Tennessee at the worst time because this is the rebound game after that abomination in Georgia, and it’s in Rocky Top.
I won’t be surprised if Tigers football fans get persuaded by other Tigers football fans to not go to this game instead watch the Blues Golden Knights hockey game because likely that will be an entertaining competitive game, and the Blues defeating the Golden Knights is realistically achievable.

It won’t be surprising when most likely Tennessee scores more than 21 points in the 1st half.

I’m just glad we are playing this game at home. I don’t think they would beat us either way, but we need BIG wins in these final 3 games. And we have a much better chance to win by a big margin when playing at home. I worry more about the SoCar game since it’s on the road. I don’t see us losing but it could be difficult to run the score up like we need to.

Also South Carolina might be slightly better late in the season.

The Tigers defense has mostly proven reliable including they played mostly great vs a great Georgia team in a game that they realistically failed to win because they failed to close.

However I’m still confident the Volunteers make this game undramatic before halftime which makes it very discouraging for the Tigers defense, and the Volunteers play great including the Volunteers defense mostly avoids busted coverage.
Even if the Tigers keep this game close in the 1st half I’m still confident the Volunteers score more than 27 points, and they win by more than 21 points.
