One of my favorites: “Those Tennessee running backs are absolute hell.”

Hell yeah they are! Three of them too no doubt.
I liked that too. I gotta say, if you're going to have a shaky air game, it's good to still be able to move the ball on the ground. Actually, it's pretty great to be running well (and usually pretty necessary to open up the other stuff) when the passing game is working too. A lot of football games have been won by teams that can run the ball and play good defense for sure.

We will need to do better in the other areas of the offense to have decent chances against some of the teams left on our schedule, but we are better off now than I really expected us to be when at this point when Pruitt left. Still a little disappointed because I thought maybe the high powered scoring from last year would've carried over and come together a bit more by now, but I believe we will get there, maybe this season, but if not then next year. I've been wrong about a ton of things before though, so we will see.

Agreed. I think the problem on offense with the passing game is multiple factors: Receivers not getting separation, possibly some blocking issues, timing, dropped passes and sometimes Joe throwing behind receivers. This is still a good team though but I think we’ll have to wait for the vertical passing game fireworks until next season, provided they find Cooper’s replacement.

They were. Talked to many of them walking around. They love the area, and most were having a great time, but the hills were driving them nuts. :) Apparently it is the dictionary picture of flat at College Station.
They were great. I was in JJ so right near them during the game. They were awesome for the most part. Only a couple bad apples. Had one bad mouthing Neyland after the game....since.you know the upper bowl on the south end zone is one of the least renovated parts of the stadium and all....

I wonder if they think when Jimbo is fired and they have to pay the buyout, do their fans think the AD that signed that ridiculous contract should be fired too. I know they are blaming Jimbo and rightfully so, but to keep and AD that provides such a terrible contract should go too.

I agree with you there. I'm not sold on Jimbo either, and he has had time, but maybe he will turn it around. *shrug*

He signed an extension last year

I understand their frustration - to have as much talent as they do and not win any big games just sucks. We’ve been in similar straights but not sure we ever had the talent level they have (especially on D) and couldn’t win. Jimbo is the Greatest almost great coach ever…

“-If it makes anybody feel better, at least Alabama will get beat by Tennessee next week.“

I wish I had his confidence!

I do too. You can't be one dimensional and win in Tuscalooser. We lose by 21+ unfortunately.

-I can’t believe I traveled to Knoxville to watch this dog **** continue.

-I’ve prepared myself to just sit by a bonfire or go hunting all day every Saturday until they fire Jimbo.

-It’s time to pull the plug on this staff.

-Tennessee and their rabid fans wanted this game more and it was very apparent throughout.

-God, the things I would do to be as good as Tennessee is right now.

-What I would give for our defense to be like Tennessee’s defense. They play aggressive as hell and they’re gonna make sure they win the game.

-Jimbo is an idiot and I’m done with this crap until they fire his candy ass.

-Heupel controlled this game and out coached Jimbo.

-I just decided to cancel my season tix for next year.

-I really never thought we had a prayer to win this game, turns out I was right.

-Gary Danielson just had to make that comment about Neyland the other day. That place was bonkers, I had to turn down my damn tv volume.

-Those Tennessee running backs are absolute hell.

-We just melt down at the absolute worst times.

-Keep telling yourself Max Johnson is a quality QB.

-A 95 million dollar head coach that isn’t worth 2 damn pennies.

-Things that rhyme with ass…….a&m football

-Tennessee is a quality team, we suck.

-We wouldn’t have even won this game if we were playing at home. We are a TERRIBLE PROGRAM!

-Burn it all down, start from scratch.

-Hello 5-7

-You wanna know how bad we are? They only had to throw for 100 yards to beat us.

-We are completely screwed next year when Texas and Oklahoma join.

-Tennessee bullied us and we took it.

-Tennessee was playing pissed off, we were playing not to lose.

-F*** F*** F***

-The worst thing about this loss is nothing. I don’t care anymore.

-If it makes anybody feel better, at least Alabama will get beat by Tennessee next week.
Solid Gold right here! LOL

Idk why yall are acting like Alabama is some kind of juggernaut. They’ve only won two games by more than 20. Middle TN and Miss St. They’ve struggled mightily the rest of the way.

For great laughs, Watch some of the delusional YouTube reports from Aggie outlets. “Defense played great, we had superior talent, the better team, etc” The only place I’d say A&M was clearly better Saturday was at WR. Please don’t say DL…. Vol DL dominated the game, theirs got gashed for almost 250 yds rushing. Vol OL was better than theirs. Vol RBs certainly better than theirs. Both QBs were below average. Kicking game a clear Vol advantage. Aggies appear to let their 2022 recruiting class (some no longer there) fog their brain.l

The best defender for A&M was the referee. 4 drives were stopped by penalties, 2 of which were very questionable. Add the 3 missed PIs.

“Heupel controlled this game and out coached Jimbo.”

I genuinely thought CJH called a pretty bad game as far as major decisions went. The fourth down attempts felt super forced and like we really didn’t have much hope of getting it. He really needs to start taking his three in close games with our defense playing like it has been combined with our strong rushing attack. The pass call at the end on 2nd down in my opinion was stupid as well. You make them take an extra timeout there before kicking the field goal and going up seven. I understand he is an aggressive coach but Joe Milton is not Hendon Hooker.

CH did make a couple of bad decisions. He should have kicked the FG on both of the 4th downs he went for
I prob agree with hindsight. But those happen every game and coaches make those “decisions” constantly. I don’t view them as bad decisions as much as just game flow calls. Sometimes they turn out perfect and sometimes not. Thankfully we overcame. After hearing Josh post game I think those decisions were dictated by the wind. JMO

I know this much Ole Milton and this coaching staff better show up to the trailer park ready to play next weekend.Im glad we won but Saban has been game planning for us since the loss last year lol he been mad.You can tell that one eat his a** up based on his crybaby comments all off season.
That place is gonna be off the chain unfortunately, and ive not seen a team that's ready for that from our side.I believe our defense comes ready but that offense is still suspect.Do we win hell idk Milton's gonna have to toss it for 250 at least and Heupels gotta lock that play calling in he had some Ehhh calls today he even said so himself...I think it's a close game and we can win but we gotta play better than we have of late and especially on the road...

*I know that sounds insane coming off a hard fought impressive win,but u guys no what I mean when I say offense needs to show up
Having a plan is great but there is not much u can plan to do against our offense. Our alignment dictates what u can and can't do. Bama is going to have to stop the run with 6 or 7. If they cant they wont win. Our path to success is simple this year. Win the Special Teams battle, front 7 continues to be violent, and we ride our 3 horses in the backfield.

I don’t think we’re close to the same football team that Saban’s been planning for. Honestly, strong defense, solid run game and good special teams is what wins SEC road games. CJH seems to be changing his style a bit on the fly to play to his team’s strengths.

I like your take….
