Milton’s apparent injury worries me. I was impressed with his mobility on Saturday, almost thinking that maybe he’s going to start making those decisions more. But now that he may have hurt the leg, I don’t think he’ll be as mobile and we all know this o-line can’t block a thing.

-The night game at Neyland atmosphere is what makes me nervous. This could very well be the game where Rattler gets sacked over and over and the noise becomes too much.

-We have a history of doing dumb stuff in Neyland, that scares me.

-I’ve watched Tennessee this year, they’re not nearly as good as they’re made out to be. We should honestly get an easy victory.

-If Rattler can constantly get some time in the pocket, we should torch their secondary.

-We struggled against Miss State. This game might be close for a little while but this doomsday mindset of mine says Vols in a blowout.

-It’s going to be a sellout and it’s going to be louder than anyone can imagine. Can Beamer and the boys handle it? We’ll find out soon.

-This game is going to go one of two ways. We’ll either come out and set the tone and keep the tone or Tennessee is going to come out full of piss and vinegar and give us the beating of a lifetime for last year.

-I’ve seen many other SEC fans call Rattler the best QB this year. Can he rise to the occasion and become great? If he doesn’t, this fan base will turn on him in an instant.

-It’s Knoxville at night, it’ll be sold out, unfortunately we lose this one guys.

-I would feel a lot more comfortable if this game was at home.

-I was really jubilant last year when we beat them like the trash that they are, but now I am dreading it.

-Tennessee is as overrated as Colorado. Let’s just go in there and take care of business like we know we can. Georgia was our toughest test of the season and we almost beat them.

-The formula to defeating Tennessee is as simple as stopping a couple of their drives and then scoring on our drives. Florida proved that. Heupel will be out of there in two years when the fan base turns on him.

-I trust Beamer on most occasions, but I do not trust Beamer on a stage like this. You can attack me or whatever, but Tennessee is favored by 11.5 for a reason.

-Utrash’s defense is as suspect as they come. Rattler will need a little time but I fully expect Rattler to throw for about 400 yards and we hang 50 on them.

-This game is a pivotal turning point for both teams seasons. The question will be answered of who wants it more. If we lose, we’re done in the East. If they lose, they’re done in the East.

-This is a rivalry and it always has been. I fear that Joe Milton will have a coming out party though.

-The crowd will obviously be majority Tennessee and they are going to break a sound barrier. I hope we get well prepared this week.

-A night kickoff in Neyland after 12 hours of alcohol flowing at tailgates is a recipe for disaster for us. We better be ready.

-They’ll be tailgating early for this one and they’ll be ready to make our play calling miserable.

-This is a fan base and team that has been waiting for this game. It’s been marked on their calendars. Rattler better learn really quick how to play in that hostile environment. I don’t feel good about this one at all. Georgia’s stadium doesn’t have **** on Neyland.

-I hate everything about Tennessee. I think their colors are puke worthy, their campus is absolute garbage, and Neyland is a tin bucket full of ****. We win by two touchdowns. Mark it down.

-The defense certainly won’t win this game. The offense is going to have to take control and try to walk away with it.

-I’m not going to be able to get a thing done at work all week. I’ll be at the game Saturday, y’all pray from me.

-I’ve got this overwhelming fear that Tennessee is going to blow us out and everyone is going to turn on Beamer.

If the defense can put constant pressure on Rattler, Tennessee should win this game easily.

So you don't like him and more than likely the reason you don't like him is that "they" said he's a bad player or whatever?

Again, what specifically has he done and do you think it is worse than some of the other mistakes that have been made? I HATE his tackle attempt. But there were two or 3 other players who didn't do their jobs that made that awful attempt necessary.

UT has talent on D. They have talent in the secondary. They're fairly well coached up when it comes to technique. They need to be put in a position to succeed. IMO, the best place you can have Hadden is in the face of an opposing WR. Hadden has very good athleticism. Honestly I cannot understand why UT with guys like Slaughter, Turnage, and Hadden at CB lets opponents get free releases off the LOS.

I just want em to play with passion. Carolina comes in with tenacity, because they view themselves as underdogs with something to prove.
Tennessee can’t just waltz in and expect Carolina to be intimidated and tentative. Beamer, despite helping the clown that he is, will have those guys fired up and believing. Nothing would do more for their program than to knock off a nationally- ranked team two years in their respective stadiums.
Tennessee has to stomp on it early and keep the hammer down, no matter what happens. Defend the home turf and play with a chip.

I can see exactly why the SC fans are seemly down on playing UT. Miss St had a WR go for 250 yards on 7 receptions. While our defense is still having its troubles. Letting 1 WR go for 250 yards is pretty crazy. I didn't watch the game although looking at the stat lines it appears that Miss St pretty much dominated the overall game with the exception of the final score.

So.Carolina wishes to have our games as rivalries.No way!Send their mascot back to S.C. without his head.Just put smoke on their ass all game and never let up.If we are ahead by 50'keep the speed on and don't let those chickens breathe.Jap slap the sand fleas.

He had 2 PIs against AP but then he got a pick. My criticism is that he doesn't turn for the ball, but I know how difficult that can be.

Benched him? I was on my way to beat him up for all the Tennessee greats, could you imagine Eric Berry trying to tackle like that?

Well on my way down to the field, I saw him square up on the O-lineman and looks like in fact he does have some hands!

Then I remembered all I needed was a football and he would put his hands away.... WIN!

All joking aside, I hope the Hadden and the vols have a great game and blow out the chickens. I will be there with friends and family cheering them on to a victory.

I watched Alontae Taylor and a little of the Saints yesterday and I noticed the D backs are only looking for the ball on crossing and short routes. I think they pretty much are all taught to react to the movement of the receivers and then rake the ball from their hands as they reach for it. Receivers have such speed on vertical routes nowadays, maybe turning isn't practical anymore. I see that a lot on the fly and post routes these days.

Yeah with the way the offense can sputter sometimes with “hurry up and punt” that bend but don’t break can really hurt the defense. I agree that defense should be as aggressive as offense

I’m thinking 42-20 South Carolina. rattler is elite and our secondary is horrible. I expect Hadden and the rest of Martinez’s group of poorly coached DBs to get abused all game

You are such a soft and feeble person. Grow a pair. South Carolina has the worst defense in the conference. We’re not losing by 22 points at home to Shane Beamer. I’m starting to think you haven’t actually watched a single South Carolina game this year.

I don’t follow. Their YPG and PPG given up would be expected to be higher given they played better opponents with better talent. Had they played a schedule like ours and given up their same numbers then we’d expect that their defense is trash compared to ours.
