You've really thought about this haven't you?
Not really. But I have been told before that I have quite the imagination.

On second thought, I might skip the candy, just bring a bottle of syrup, get in there early and hit up the upper deck visitor bleachers. More inconspicuous, equally effective.

Never in my life have I ever thought of South Carolina as a rival.

They have only been a threat historically during our really down years.

After last year with the margin, Hendon’s injury, and Beamer being a psycho, this game will have a rivalry feel. I don’t think it’s multi year. Whoever sidetracked our playoff bid was always gonna catch the wrath this season when we played them.

So you don't like him and more than likely the reason you don't like him is that "they" said he's a bad player or whatever?

Again, what specifically has he done and do you think it is worse than some of the other mistakes that have been made? I HATE his tackle attempt. But there were two or 3 other players who didn't do their jobs that made that awful attempt necessary.

UT has talent on D. They have talent in the secondary. They're fairly well coached up when it comes to technique. They need to be put in a position to succeed. IMO, the best place you can have Hadden is in the face of an opposing WR. Hadden has very good athleticism. Honestly I cannot understand why UT with guys like Slaughter, Turnage, and Hadden at CB lets opponents get free releases off the LOS.
I don't like him for his tackling, or how he covers. His tackling woes and his tendency to run his mouth when he has no business doing so put him in a different category than the other players. And we definitely that the UT DBs are well coached on technique.

I don't have a good feeling about this game. I want UT to avenge the loss last year by dropping 60 on them. I am afraid that it will be a close and hi scoring game because the secondary on each side will get torched. I see the quarterbacks being the deciding factor. If Milton can hit the receivers, it will be a bad night for the chickens. If Milton goes into bazooka mode, and throws it out the back of the endzone half the time, the chickens will have a feast.

I love the fact that people are acting like it is a foregone conclusion that Rattler is some Heisman contender who is guaranteed to have 300+ yards and 5 TD's......

All because in 1 game he played well against us while his South Carolina career has been mediocre at best.....

True, but he is facing our secondary. That's a get well card for any QB.

It's understandable after the way Graham "f'ing" Mertz carved us up on 3rd downs. At one point they were like 7 of 8 on 3rd down and most of those were 7+ yards. We MUST affect Rattler in the pocket because he is good enough to repeat what he did last year if we do not.

If Rattler goes 19-24 for 166 yards and a touchdown, we win easily..... So if you are worried about Rattler playing like Mertz is some sort of warning for us, that is very cute. Once again, people who are bellyaching and suffering from PTSD from last year are delusional. Cry about it some more.

umm...no one is crying about it. Was explaining the importance of improving our 3rd down defense from the Florida game. Is that ok? Are we allowed?

You were crying. If you are scared of USC and Rattler, just say so. 19/24 165 yards won't get it done against us in neyland.

There won't be 2 tons of wet sand on the field this year to slow us down.

I'm convinced that they did bog down the field last year prior to playing us. It doesn't excuse getting throttled by a lesser team, but their field has always been garbage and led to a gruesome injury to Hendo.

They did. They trucked in two tons of sand and practiced on it all week.
